Great little gem. Beautiful property, quiet, peaceful. There was a function at the venue building the first evening we were there but it was no bother. Pool was nice addition, we were the only ones using it all 3 nights we were there. Wish it were a little closer to the attractions in the area but the quietness of the area makes up for the 25ish minute drive to Beavers Bend and Hochatown. The cabin was nicely furnished. Make sure to bring a lighter for the charcoal grill.
It was a peaceful, family friendly property. It's equidistant from Idabel and Broken Bow which was convenient for us. Our kids especially loved the pool and foosball table.
Nice and cozy - although disappointing that the pool was unusable due to maintenance. The pool was a main reason we chose this cabin, and especially our children were sad about it - after a warm 3,5 hrs hike in Beaver's Bend state park.
The cabin was everything we expected and very comfortable, nice and clean as well. The host was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I will definitely book again
The cabin was listed as sleeping 4. However, the loft area is inaccessible for adults unless youâre really little and can squeeze through a tight space and sleep on a mattress on the floor. The stair rail and the roof angle are too close together to access the area.
We booked for two nights at the Lonestar cabin. We left after one day.
Five main issues for feedback.
> We wanted to spend time near the fire pit. The whole time we were there it was smelling sewer that we had to go inside.
> Sufficient comforters not provided.
> We were locked out of the cabin for 30 mins due to issues unknown. However, owner was quick to catch up.
> Club house was closed and we did not know until we arrived.
> Sink was very dirty with mold spots.
You need to tell people that this cabin is very small and that the upstairs is for small children. My grown nieces had to crawl around and sit on there but to get down the stairs. As far as the outside it is very nice beautiful trees and fire pit very quiet. Iâd stay again but not in the cabin we had.
Nice property. Easy to communicate
It was our first time in a cabin, so one night was perfect. The hardest part was opening the gate. My sons enjoyed the get away. (about 20 minutes from "food" and approximate 30 minutes from the state park/activities)
We enjoyed staying three nights in the Lonestar cabin. Very cozy environment. However, the pool was a little warm, and the upstairs loft was too hot for the Teenagers. It seems the AC in the living room was not working 100%. The only outside light did not work, so we couldnt see well making our smores by the fire. Other than that, we had a great time.
We planned a last-minute overnight stay and this little cabin was the perfect place for our family. It was small, but was just enough space for us. The kids loved sleeping in the loft and enjoyed the campfire outside. Self check-in was very easy and convenient. We would stay here again.
