Fun place to stay - interesting decor, great backyard patio, great kitchen to cook in, near to downtown restaurants. This is a great base to explore the areas' trails and scenary. And, don't forget acwhale watching tour!Eris was very gracious and let us check in a bit early.

Erik was an excellent host. The house was charmingly decorated with an abundance of anything we needed. We walked to the historic downtown everyday to enjoy the restaurants and stores. Highly recommend!

We loved returning to this cozy home that’s so close to downtown Anacortes! Last visit we cooked a full Thanksgiving meal. This time we entertained by having 10 people over for appetizers on the back deck. Thank you again for another great stay!

This rental was fantastic, exactly as described: charming, eccentric, and fun. This is a home; if you want the sterile vibe of a hotel, this is not for you. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms updated, and the laundry is quiet and quick. Yes, the stairs to the second floor are steep, common for older homes. It’s located not three blocks from the Main Street and Saturday farmer’s market, and the available bicycles were all also appreciated for venturing further.Overall, five stars if you want a cozy and charming home in a harbor town.

Authentic Anacortes

You know you’ve found something special as soon as you walk through the front door. What a fantastic, unique property. The photos don’t do it justice - every detail has been attended to to reflect an authentic Anacortes vibe. Very walkable, great backyard and gracious hosts. We will definitely stay here again.

Downtown Anacortes Gem!

This little gem was so thoughtfully & quaintly decorated. It has a great little backyard for kids. The house is compact yet the spaces are spacious & well appointed. Great walkable location, very well stocked, clean & fresh linens, fabulous host who was responsive and kind. We will be back!! Highly recommend.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful time in Erik's beautiful VRBO. Everything was so tastefullly done and planned to the smallest details, making our stay as pleasant as can be. Erik was super responsive to any questions we had, gave us many good recommendation and went out of his way to accomodate alll event implied desires like kids bikes 😊. Highly recommend stay in lovely Anacortes.

Convenient spot, cute house

While the qualifications eric lists such as close to a shipyard are appreciates it is a super cute and comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen and a back yard with a covered patio area and a gas fire pit that is an easy walk to downtown. And great default music on the old ipod!

Comfortable and central location

This place met all of our expectations. It was cozy and in a great location to downtown restaurants, Cap Sante, and the harbor. The only thing missing is a view from this locale. But it doesn’t take but a minute to reach Cap Sante and get an amazing view of the bay and mountain ranges. The house had very thoughtful amenities and is perfect for our family of 4. Thanks so much for a memorable vacation!

Everything we needed and great location too!

We were visiting our daughter for Thanksgiving holiday week. This gem of a house was not only right around the corner from her house in Cap Sante, it is also really close to our favorite places downtown. Erik (our host) is so thoughtful and had stocked the kitchen with enough gadgets, spices, etc., that we had everything we needed to cook a full holiday meal with all the fixings! We can’t wait to return next year!

Great spot in a beautiful town

Loved this spot. Perfect for a few people to stay. They had plenty of board games,DVDs, books. They had bikes, a cool patio area. Their kitchen had a lot of spices available for if you decide to cook. Really eclectic decor and cool things. We loved it here. Would definitely come again. They are in walking distance of a cute restaurant that overlooks the water.

Magical

We were transformed into vacation mode once we stepped inside; everyone of us instantly felt relaxed. With the charming decor, an incredible variety of furniture and amenities, each of us found a nook to call our own; hard to do in most places with 4 teenagers. The location was a comfortable walk to town and included several stops during our stay at local ice cream shop. The covered patio with fire pit and comfy chairs allowed us to relax outside, too. Wonderful inside and back yard

The owners probably undersell this place in the listing. They're right it doesnt look like much from the outside, but it's wonderful on the inside. Clever decorating and more make it feel really homey. The backyard with the cover, the BBQ, and propane firepit are really nice. We'll absolutely stay here again! We came in by boat, and the owner even came to pick me up! It's a 15 minute walk to the main Cap Sante marina office and 5 minutes to the restaurants on commercial avenue.

House hunting in Anacortes

A fabulous stay at this adorable little house! Dolcee/Erik, the owner, greeted us with a warm smile and provided all the information we needed about Anacortes. The house is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, outdoor patio is delightful with bbq & gas fireplace. The interior decor is fun, the beds, pillows & furniture are great. A great walk to downtown for food and a good restaurant across the street! The extra touches & communication with the owner is like no other. She goes above & beyond. I would stay here again & highly recommend!

The Cap Sante house was great. It’s a very comfortable space with excellent proximity to a number of nice restaurants in downtown Anacortes. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and Erik has an artistic flair for design that makes this house unique.

House is even nicer in real life! Erik was super communicative and helpful. Really good nights of sleep here. Appreciate the black out paper curtains :) Would 100% return.

Wonderful and relaxing

The house and neighborhood were exactly as described. I was very impressed with the kitchen and all appliances available. The farmer's market Saturday mornings is only a short walk from the house, and had excellent local produce and fresh baked goods. I also really enjoyed the fire table in the back yard - a perfect way to take off the evening chill and enjoy the local nature - lots of deer coming through for some grazing, along with a nice variety of sea and songbirds.
