Welcome to Villa 1882 at St. Andrews Common, a newly remodeled second-floor retreat in the renowned Palmetto Dunes Resort. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath villa is bathed in natural light, with soaring ceilings and an open great room creating a bright, inviting space. Step onto the wrap-around deck, accessible from both the master bedroom and living area, and enjoy tranquil lagoon and golf course views.

The villa features designer furnishings and flexible sleeping arrangements: a king bed in the master, two full-size beds in the guest room, a queen sleeper sofa, and a fold-out twin bed. Just 100 feet away, the community pool with sun decks and a clubhouse offers a perfect spot to unwind. Ideal for a serene and stylish getaway!

This place was perfect for our family of 4! Close to everything, having the pool right around the corner was great for the kids. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Great Vacation - beautiful property.

We spent two weeks on vacation at the property. Everything in the property was super clean and worked well. We enjoyed the balcony and the proximity to the pool. This was our fourth visit to HHI and this property was our favorite - we'll be staying here again.

Great condo!

Absolutely loved this condo! The real thing is better than the photos. The kitchen has everything and more you need during your stay. There were even beach chairs for us to use as a plus! Would absolutely stay here again!

My family absolutely LOVED our stay at 1882 St. Andrews Commons Villas in Palmetto Dunes! Our Villa was stunning and beautifully decorated. We were provided with all the comforts and cleanliness of home, and the pool and property are well kept. There are easily accessible walking paths to take you all over the Island. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend a visit to everyone!

Vacation with grands

We had 6 kids and their was plenty of space for all of us. The wrap around porch was perfect with plenty of outdoor sitting space. It was a 2-3 minute drive to the beach and parking was a breeze. The on-site pool was another bonus because we could sit under a covered space and still watch the kids. We usually stay at the Marriott or the Westin but we have found a new place to stay. We will return next year.

We enjoyed our stay and overall the house was nice and the location was convenient. The house could use a deep cleaning and the furniture is showing wear and tear but for the price we felt it was reasonable. The only downside was during the day the A/C could only cool the house to 80 degrees but at night it was fine.

We are sad to hear this. This villa receives raving reviews due to it's great upkeep and our customer service. We do know your car was towed and feel awful but we do let all of our guests know to put their car pass in the windshield due to this possibility. There are signs around the complex as well. You did mention you didn't stop at the pass office prior to going to the condo. We hope you know this does not reflect on the property itself as it is a beautiful villa. We'd love to have you back to experience a better vacation.

Beautiful peaceful decor.

Pleasant environment. Appreciated the kitchen with well stocked pots/pans and dishes. Thankful for the portable fan (stored in closet) which we used in living room to combat hot summer sun. (Would recommend installing mini blinds on corner windows. Thankful the other windows were covered.)

Very nice

My mom, sister and I took my 7 year old here for Spring Break. The neighborhood is very nice, although it was a hike to the beach. Unfortunately the pool here isn’t heated or cleaned much even in late March so my 7 year old didn’t want to swim in it (pretty much why we booked this unit because it was close to pool) so we ended up purchasing a resort pass to the Omni and using their heated pool one day. The community is very nice and you can bike around easily. The unit provided all the space we needed and was very clean.

The pet friendly part of the unit is great but there were dog hairs everywhere and the furniture was visibly dirty. Disappointed and not sure how this is considered a 5 star rental.

Comfortable and cheery condo

Lovely condo with comfortable beds and lots of natural light. Easy access to William Hilton Parkway so we were able to travel around the island easily. Access to the beach requires a bike - it's a little too far to walk. Fortunately, there is a bike path that runs along Queen's Folly from St. Andrew's Commons to the beach access by the Marriot. It's a pretty path to ride even if you are not headed to the beach. The welcome guidebook/binder in the condo included information about Island Skiff Adventure Tours. We booked a guided skiff boat tour based on the information we found in the guidebook and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip!

Really liked every aspect of renting that his property. Unit was immaculate. Check in and out was effortless. Location to the pool is perfect, close but far enough away to still feel secluded. Wrap around balcony is very nice. Could pack light because unit has full size washer and dryer. All things provided for kitchen and laundry. Be sure to take advantage of free shuttle service. This is a great way to get to beach. They will haul everything except bikes. Bike rentals will drop of gear at racks next to unit. Only thing missing was cream for the coffee. :)

great experience

We thoroughly loved our stay at this villa. Only had a few issues: we were locked out on the balcony because although there was a deadbolt on the door the door handle also locked which we didn't realize until it was seconds too late. Our new friends downstairs helped us out. Also the initial cleaning crew did not do a very thorough job of cleaning the kitchen. There were dirty dishes put into the cupboards and chunks of food on the floor beside the refrigerator. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and linens. The unit is very handy to the pool and we sat on the balcony watching people come and go from our balcony. Loved St. Andrews Common location, very handy to all amenities. Thanks

Excellent condo and location

This was our first trip to HH Island. We did not know what to expect. Palmetto Dunes exceeded our expectations! We loved all the trees, biking path, proximity to the beach and to shopping. It was the perfect get away for our family. My daughter and I even took a surf lesson! The condo is nicely updated, light and very comfortable. We loved all of the windows, natural light and the layout. My only suggestion would be to do a deep cleaning. The condo was clean as far as appliances, toilet, shower and bed linens but I could see things that needed dusting/cleaning such as window sills, baseboards, cabinets and the deck could use a good clean as well. But we understand this is a rental and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. We would cone back here again!

Amazing, relaxing, restorative villa

We have vacationed at a variety of lovely properties over many years - in Europe, Florida, California, Arizona, New Mexico, S. Carolina and elsewhere. Our 12 days at 1882 St. Andrews was by far the most satisfying and enjoyable of all. The Villa itself was perfectly appointed, immaculate, and arranged to provide guests with a luxurious yet homey experience. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into what would make for an exceptional experience for their guests. Every convenience was there, from upscale appliances, washer and dryer, beach/pool towels, puzzles, videos, games, large televisions in living area and bedrooms. Perfect accommodations for a couple or entire family. The wonderful pool - with views of a lake and beautiful golf course - is literally steps away from the Villa. The entire development was lush and relaxing, by foot and car. The nearby beach was exceptional as well. The location of this Villa in Palmetto Dunes is our favorite on Hilton Head. Very close to great restaurants, groceries, entertainment, activities and shops - and short driving distance for explorations off the island. In short, we did not want to leave a memorable time at this Villa, Palmetto Dunes, or Hilton Head. We have recommended this property to friends and relatives and anxiously anticipate many return visits to 1882 St. Andrews.

Perfect!

My family – husband, teenaged daughter, daughter’s friend, and I – thought this condo was “practically perfect”, although, actually, it was just perfect. The condo is beautiful inside, so tastefully updated and decorated, but also very comfortable. No detail was overlooked. The layout of the condo itself was ideal for the four of us—open kitchen, dining and living areas, while the bedrooms felt private.. My husband and I used the master bedroom, with the full attached bath. The master bedroom bed was sooo comfortable. The girls used the other bedroom and were happy to have their own bath right next to their room. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked. Having the laundry right next to the kitchen was very convenient. We also really liked the location of the condo. It is private and quiet, but very close to the pool. Right across the street is a nice shopping, dining, and outdoor activity area. All areas of the island were quick and easy to access. We loved the Dunes Buggy for fast and convenient access to the beach. All of the drivers were extremely friendly. If you are able, be sure to rent bikes for easy and fun access all over the area. I hope you enjoy this wonderful condo as much as we did!

Beautiful villa!

I booked this villa for a girls' weekend over Labor Day. None of us had been to Hilton Head before and we instantly fell in love. The old trees, bike path, landscaping everywhere, beautiful beaches, etc. made you always feel like you were in a special serene place. All 5 of us absolutely loved the villa. It is beautiful, decorated to provide a relaxing atmosphere, very comfortable, and has all the amenities you could want. Everything was extremely clean. The villa was quiet and peaceful. Having the washer and dryer inside the villa was super convenient. It was awesome to not have to pack beach towels since they were provided, along with all the linens and towels. The pool was clean, quiet, in a great close location, and the books to borrow were a nice perk. We loved the Dunes Buggy transportation with the friendly drivers. We took it to the beach every day (although it's an easy walk from the villa) and enjoyed the Dunes House drop-off. It was nice you could shower sand off before returning and the food and drinks were great on the deck overlooking the ocean. We also enjoyed Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant and happened to be there when they were filming a Food Network episode. Salty Dog and the live music was fun. While Hilton Head has amenities like grocery shopping, Target, etc., it is hidden behind landscaping and so it never looks commercialized. I definitely want to stay in this villa again!

Loved the condo itself. The property was very nice.

Was told the beach was walking distance, but it was not. Had to bike or drive.
