This historic home is in the heart of Olde East Hill - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION : 5 mile drive to the #1 beach in America, 2 minute drive to I-10, a short 1 block walk to the Pensacola Bay Center for Ice Flyers, Sunbelt, all concerts, a 10 minute walk downtown to enjoy nightlife and restaurants, just over a mile to the Blue Wahoos Stadium. THE BACKYARD is what keeps guests coming back - it’s a double lot, fenced in, with an outdoor kitchen & TV under the string lights - so your pets can have a vacation too :). We really like this house. This was our 5th year staying here. Host is great. Neighborhood is great. Close to anything you would want or need. You won't find a better place to stay.

Stay for dance competition

We really enjoyed the stay in this house. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Very close to the bay center we were able to walk on days when parking was bad.

Great Getaway!

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for us and our two dogs. Perfect if you want to experience Pensacola’s night life. Just a short drive to the beach too. Our dogs loved their stay. They had plenty of room to play, and explore. The patio area with the water hose was an added bonus after we took the dogs to the beach.

Another great stay.;

Another great stay. This I think was year #5 at this cottage. As always everything was like I would want it. We had one minor issue but the owner was right on top of it just like he is any time there is a problem. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Pensacola.

We had a great time. The location is good for walking downtown. The fenced back yard made it a joy to spend time with our dog. We look forward to next year!

Third year and will stay there again!

We like the location. We can walk to downtown in 15 minutes. The neighborhood continues to develop with several house restorations. Our host does a great job communication and taking care of any needs. The fenced in yard with shade trees are great for our dog. We will stay here again.

Lovely home, great walkable community.

Wife and I wanted to give our senior dog some quality beach time in his senior years. Getting to the property was very easy coming right off the interstate. House is perfectly clean and cozy. There is a dog park about 5 minutes away where they can swim. Getting to the beach is maybe 10 minutes. There’s a good size farmers market within walking distance. Lively downtown. Overall good experience, decent kitchen and outdoor seating. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Cozy and pet friendly

The owner was very prompt answering questions. I loved the flow of the house and was equipped with all the supplies to have some meals there. The place was awesome for my husband and our 2 dogs. Fenced in yard so we could hangout outside without worrying if they were going to run. Within walking distance to downtown if you like to walk. But for future renters....the main bridge is out to go to Pensacola Beach and do not know for how long. That would only take 10 to 15min to get to the beach. Now you have to take the long way around and it's anywhere from 40 min to and hour and half. So we ended up only going once and finding some other beaches that where still over a half hour drive. Other than that we loved it!!

Roaches

We left two days early and checked into a hotel. There was an unpleasant odor in the house, my husband said it smelled like Raid
 and then we found the roaches and palmetto bugs. Overall the house seemed unclean, which probably has to do with the age of the it, but roaches are just not something I can deal with on vacation. Also, there was still coffee in the coffee pot from the previous renter and the soap dispensers in the bathrooms were just filled with water.

Bring your furbabies

This is a great place. All modern appliances, updated bathrooms and updated cabinets. Bring your fur baby with no worries. Completely fenced in yard, with a outdoor bar and grill.

Perfect Location

The checkin process was super easy. The house is moderate and so cute!! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our 2 pups. It’s in a great location as it’s 10 mins from the beach and 2-3 mins from downtown. Nice quiet neighborhood! We will definitely stay here again!

Little uncomfortable stay

Shower curtain was mildew and dirty. Flying Roaches. Tv outside was broken. Tv in second room not working. The manger does respond quick i could of inform them these things but the house should of had a walk through before guess arrive to even experience these problems.

Perfect location, perfect house!

This thoughtfully renovated home is beautiful! Just enough old mixed with contemporary and modern amenities. Perfect location for exploring the historical area of Pensacola. We walked EVERYWHERE! The weather was absolutely perfect. Comfortable king bed (we didn't use the second bedroom) with more than enough storage space. The living room furniture was comfortable, as well. We didn't bring our dogs, but the fenced back yard would be totally safe for them. The only recommendation I would make is to add more silverware and coffee cups (we purchased 4 and left them for guests to come.) and perhaps some large bowls for popcorn. 🙂We will definitely want to stay here again!

Pensacola rental house

The location was very convenient to downtown. The host was very helpful and always responded to my messages. There were plenty of towels, tissues, and garbage bags which you often don’t have in other rentals. The backyard was very nice, since we travel with our dog. We really enjoyed our stay.

Dog friendly & close to the beach

We were mostly happy with the bungalow. There was an issue with the washing machine, but the owner attempted to have it fixed and reimbursed some of my fee for the inconvenience of not having it. He was very quick to reply to my messages. The fenced in back yard, off street parking, and proximity to the beach were all great!

Enjoyed the property but disappointed in cleanliness

Unfortunately the house needed to be swept and vacuumed when we arrived along with coffee grinds on counter and old coffee still in the coffee pot. Seemed as if thr cleaning service skipped out on their scheduled cleaning. Owner was very responsive and after cleaning myself, we enjoyed our stay.
