Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Reus house!! Would recommend it and return. Close to downtown core, safe, 4 blocks from a grocery/health food store. Home had everything a family with small ones would need from laundry machine to boogey boards:). Cannot wait to come back!
Property was beautiful! I would say the kitchen could use a few more items especially large bowls, a measuring cup, corkscrew, and small baking pans. But we love to cook! Also more hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen! Otherwise a great place and we would definitely rent again!!
Over all our family was pleased w the property. We did find some dog hair left behind from previous tenant, but nothing that would stop us from renting tye property fir future vacations.
Overall our experience was good! We stayed for a month and had zero issues with connecting with the property manager when we needed assistance. The house is not what I would consider family friendly as it did have a lot of glass decor and no bathtub to bathe small children but is perfectly situated next to a park which was very nice. Quick drive to all the hot spots! Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay!
We completely enjoyed our stay. Loved the location to town. This was just 4 houses down from five sisters blues restaurant that had great food. Also a wonderful Sunday brunch. We used the house as our home base for house hunting. The bed was comfortable there was plenty of room to unpack and live like it was our own home. Was nice to get a feel of what it would be like to live in downtown Pensacola
We stayed here to see how we might like "living downtown", and it was great! Very quiet neighborhood (even over the New Year holiday weekend) and super close to Palafox. Our car didn't move the entire four days we were there. Home was super cute and just as described - perfect for me, the hubs and our dog.
Property is new, updated and very clean. Communication with the owner was great and his courtesy to make special accommodation for us was surely appreciated.
Amazing little home that fit our needs perfectly! We were there to do some househunting for the area because itâs a beautiful area and this property hit all points. Everything that was described was just as it was. Great central location to everything! Kevin was a rockstar.
Despite the weather, my stay at Reus Retreat was perfect. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house looked exactly like the pictures. It was close to I-110 and a short drive to everything we wanted to see and do. I give this place a 10/10 and would recommend it to all of my friends, family and other VRBO users. I look forward to my next stay
Very clean and recently updated bungalow with nice amenities like coffee pods, waters, detergent and smart tvs in every room. The location is convenient to downtown and the beach. It's across the street from a sketchy park, but the street and the house are well lit. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Thank you for a great vacation!
We love coming to Pensacola as there is so much to see and do. This cute little two bedroom house is located centrally with easy access to everything we want to do. We were able to easily walk to see the Blue Wahoo's baseball games. There is a great restaurant right around the corner, and it is about a fifteen minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Palafox. The drive to the beach was about 15 minutes and you are easily within that amount of time to some other great adventures. We plan on going out to Fort Pickens and the Gulf Islands National Seashore to watch the Blue Angels practice and are going to the Naval Aviation Museum.
This charming house is perfect for a base for our Pensacola adventure.
The home is spotless and a 5-minute walk to downtown. Nice safe and quiet neighborhood, walked late in the evening and had no problems. Washer, dryer with detergent included. Kitchen very roomy and fully equipped but the 30 second walk to 5 Sisters Cafe for some incredible and very reasonably priced home cooking with live blues made us regulars during our week stay! Bedding comfortable and bathrooms adequately stocked. Only complaint was the Television required logging in to streaming service and had no local channels. Minor inconvenience, we will definitely return on our next visit.
we stayed at this property last year and were very pleased this visit, as we were last year.things that changed:we had dogs this time! if you ever want to make sure your home is pristinely clean, bring dachshunds! our boys found any little thing left behind, which wasn't much. in total, they found a bandage wrapper, a small piece of plastic (likely from candy), a piece of a tissue, and a childs cracker shaped like mickey mouse. to be sure, they worked hard to find them and they were in places that humans would have to try really hard to find. when we arrived, there was a hanger dangling from the main bedroom television mount. not sure why someone would do that, but surprised it was overlooked.living room television - last visit I was excited to explore the world of streaming television, which worked great in the bedroom. this visit, the living room television would not cooperate, constantly losing signal and kicking me out of apps, sometimes before they would load. it was weird.things that didn't change:those crazy lamps, and the difficulty getting as much light blocked out in the bedroom as possible.the well-appointed home with everything that we needed to have a lovely visit to pensacolathe great communication and accommodation of itrip, and Kevin :)reasons to stay at this VRBO - blue dot burgers, 5 sisters, location, amenities, and accessibility.a fabulous visit, look forward to staying in the future.
This property was 1.5 bathrooms. It was listed as a 2 bathroom but only has a shower in the master. This wasn't a problem for us but could be for others. Also, I think the lights in the main area were switched. The one for the living room was about 5 feet off of the ground. I hit my head on it (I'm 5 ft. 5 in.) when getting up from the chair. The one over the dining room table was higher (although not measured). My husband used a broom handle to fix the disposal because it was jammed. There were dead bugs in the corner of the master bedroom that could easily be cleaned.Overall, the location was great. Definitely one of the better places I have stayed at.
We found the description of the property on the website to be completely accurate. The rooms were spacious and well set-up. We did experience the strange light fixture issue that another reviewer noted. The light in the living room hangs very low. It is definitely something to be aware of when you move about.
I found the television to be very impressive, the picture was amazing. I have not done much with certain free app channels but had a fun time navigating it.
The things we would change are mostly matters of preference and not deal-breakers. There is a clear shot from the front door window to the back of the house, which held the master bedroom. We hung a blanket on that window, as we felt rather exposed. The thinness of the bathroom doors made bathroom trips not so discreet at all. It was difficult to get the master bedroom dark at night. There are street lights, and the shutters can only do so much. if you require pitch black, definitely bring a sleep mask.
You can't beat the location of this property. Within a lazy persons walking distance are two fabulous places to eat. Sisters and Blue Dot are not to be missed.
We definitely appreciated the off-street parking in front, the area in back always had a vehicle parked there. The property itself was not only accessible, but accessible-friendly. A gentle slope to get in the house and the areas inside were easily navigable.
Overall a great property, thanks!
Our stay at this place was great. It was clean and as advertised. The neighborhood was a little questionable but you can tell theyâre trying to clean it up. We felt safe and the house was awesome. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to downtown, local shops and eats, Walmart and all. Had a few little hiccups but nothing major. Kevin and his team answered all texts very quickly and efficiently. The only thing I can complain about is that you canât control the thermostat. Itâs hot this time of year, and while I know they want to save money you should want your guests to be comfortable. The âsuggestedâ temps were just thatâŠa suggestion. If you arenât staying in the house you have no idea what the temperature is like. Thatâs really my only complaint. I mean you have control of the temperature even in a hotel. Wonderful stay. Good local.
We stayed for Thanksgiving and an extra week to visit our son stationed at NAS. The home is immaculate and just as pictured. The only small maintenance issue we had was addressed within the hour.
Home is super convenient to base, beaches, shopping and downtown. The washer dryer and full kitchen made for an easy two weeks away.
Very clean and hosts had starting amenities like shampoo, conditioner, make up wipes, and small bars of soap. 20 minute drive to UWF. Close to restaurants and down town. We felt safe in the neighborhood and would stay here again.
