Come enjoy Dockside Daze, our luxury lakefront vacation home, for the best in comfort, convenience, and fun!

Our home has an open floor plan with 12-foot ceilings, lots of room, and a spacious deck & patio overlooking the lake. Great for entertaining and with spectacular views of Lake Norman. There are 7 bedrooms in the home- 2 king bedrooms, 4 queen bedrooms, 1 bedroom with two twin beds and 1 full size bed…plus an additional sleeper sofa in the common area and one queen air mattress.

There are 4.5 bathrooms, family room, large dining room which seats 12, breakfast nook, large open kitchen with prep island, lower level basement with game room.
Enjoy the pool table, foosball, ping pong table, Smart TVs throughout, Wi-Fi , and perhaps the best feature -the lake right at your doorstep!

Bring the whole family; our home has accommodations to sleep up to 18 guests. The main floor has 5 bedrooms and the lower level has 2 bedrooms. The main level of the house has easy access with no stairs and you can drive right up to the front to unload to start your vacation.

Beautifully decorated in a lake theme with relaxing colors will give you the feeling of a true get away. Two outside patio table areas located on the lower patio and a gas grill and patio table set is located on the upper balcony level for outside entertainment.

Publix grocery store is 7 minutes away and you can enjoy the lakefront dining at the local restaurants that are within a few miles by water or land. Deep, year round water at the end of dock for boating and a great place to swim! Fishing, kayaking, swimming, or just relaxing, this home has it all right in your own backyard! And only a short drive away there are tons of activities and things to do such as wineries, mountains, outdoor adventure parks, farms, fruit picking, shopping and dining.

We provide the sheets, towels and start up set of paper goods and hand soaps. We really want to make your vacation easy and enjoyable so come stay with us and catch some sun, fun and relax at our new home.

Driveway can accomodate 7 cars.

For an additional fee, we offer our pontoon boat for rent, OR the marina 1 mile away has boats and jet skis for rent to make your lake vacation package complete. You can store these items on our dock area during your stay. And always enjoy our 2 kayaks that come with the house.

We had a great week and the house was great. The downstairs was perfect for the kids and we all had a wonderful week at the lake. We had questions before our trip and Paul and Allison answered immediately and were very helpful

Moms/Daughters Girls Weekend

Our experience at Dockside Daze was exceptional. The descriptions for the sleep arrangements and property are detailed and accurate and Paul is very attentive and answered any messages within a minute or two...even just requests for a favorite eatery. The hosts were accomodating and were more than generous offering early check in and late check out since there were not other guests leaving or arriving immediately. The property allowed us (party of 12) to spread out as needed and yet also enjoy our meals together around one table. A huge bonus is that there are 3 refridgerator/freezers with 2 of them being upstairs! The kitchen was well stocked kitchen and the bathrooms had extra towels as well as toiletries. They even have a huge basket of lake towels for guest use. The lake view is fantastic and the home has lots of lake gear including life jackets of all sizes, kayaks, water rings for floating (even a new one for us at check in!). Definitely book Dockside Daze for your Lake Norman adventure! The house and hosts are exceptional!

Amazing Stay

Nice Property on the lake. The house was well stocked with items such as kitchen utensils and wash clothes and towels which are usually rare in vacation properties. The check in process was very easy . The owners were very attentive to any needs and concerns and made corrections quickly. Me and my family will definitely visit again . This owners are very accommodating.

Spacious and Fun!

I wish we could have stayed longer, but it was a fantastic place to stay for a weekend on the lake. I had all my closest friends in for my 30th birthday celebration and everyone got a room to themselves, which was awesome. The house was clean and so roomy, with a basement full of games and activities. 100% staying here again in the future if I’m able to.

Lake Norman Summer 2023

We had an amazing time at Dockside Daze! Paul was very attentive to our needs. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne! The ice maker doesn’t work so there were two bags of ice in the freezer. There were even beach/lake towels! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals. And, having kayaks that worked and in good condition was a bonus. We truly enjoyed our time at this house and hopefully will return soon. Thank you Paul and Alison.

Loved it!

Our family of 11 had a great time staying at this lake house! We brought our own boat and spent our days fishing, swimming, and skiing. We cooked all our meals in the well appointed kitchen. Loved how many bathrooms were available in this house! Would definitely rent again in the future!

Perfect family getaway!

We specifically selected this home due to the number of bed/baths for an extended family vacation, and it did not disappoint! Plenty of room for everyone to comfortably spread out. The basement was ideal for the kiddos and the deck was a great gathering spot for the adults. The large dining room table was ideal for our group (13 ppl) - lots of room for or eating and family games. As others mentioned, the house was well appointed- kitchen had evening you need. The home sits on a quiet cove with a beautiful lake view. Appreciate the responsiveness of the hosts, too!

Awesome!!!

We had a great time!! So much to do, even for the young children. They loved the pj masks, wore them every day!! Tons of fishing, games of pool and ping pong, camp fires, and games of all kinds. So close to Publix. So clean inside!! One of my grandsons said it was the best family vacation ever - we’ve been having multi-generational family vacations for 16 years, this one included 4 generations ages 3-73. That says it all!! Thanks so much!

Great Time @ Dockside Daze

This was probably the cleanest property we have ever rented. The kitchen had many utensils, etc. so it wasn't necessary to bring any of our own. Our group consisted of 4 adult couples, 2 adult grandchildren (22, 18), and 6 grandchildren (14, 12, 12, 9, 9, & 5). Everyone had a great time. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Would recommend this property to others.

The house was great for all ages. The kayaks and boat were fantastic additions. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. The extra refrigerators came in handy. Every commented that it was one of the best vacations ever! Thank you for everything.

Great house and close to the water. We had a big group and overall met our needs.

First family lake trip and it was great. Renting the boat was a must! Everyone had a great time tubing/skiing, checking out the restaurants for lunch or just cruising. The proximity of the house to the dock/lake was great. The upstairs provided enough bedrooms for all the adults in our group. The basement was given to our teen/20 something group which was nice. If I had one suggestion, the back basement bedroom could use a bed update. The multiple beds were great but the white one was super squeaky which made sharing that room with moody teens challenging, apparently they need their beauty sleep :)

Great place to relax

This place was very clean, well decorated and well equipped. The pontoon was the best boat I have ever rented with a powerful enough engine to quickly get us to where we wanted to be on the lake. All in all a great vacation and a great spot. The owners were VERY responsive and accommodating.

What a wonderful vacation!

This has been one of our best vacations ever. We love to just hang out together, swim, sit on the dock, boat and eat! My husband and I went with our children and grandchildren The accommodations were wonderful and the house so beautiful and fit our family perfectly. We ate all our meals in. The kitchen was so well equipped we could have left a lot that we brought at home! The children loved the game room. And unlike other places we have rented, there was room in the game room for adults as well. There were couches, tables and chairs where we put together puzzles and played games. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. And what a view of the lake! We were treated to a glorious rainbow on our last evening. I think one of the best perks of the house though were our hosts. They were so kind and willing to help in every way. Their response time to our questions was immediate. So much so in fact that we’ve already booked for next year! Just left today and already looking forward to it.

Super...all around!

Our family vacation at Dockside Daze was super...all around! This home was super clean, even smelled clean when we arrived! There was room for all 17 in our extended family. The beds were comfy, the lake was super fun, the kitchen was well stocked! Paul and Alison were easy to communicate. You will love staying here!

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful time at this well appointed house as we attended a nearby family wedding. Our teens loved the game room! Some of the older folks loved reading on the decks overlooking Lake Norman. It is close enough for the adults to find great things to do. Loved our stay!!

This was my first time renting a house and all I can say is my experience was amazing from start to finish. It was my birthday weekend and the host was quick to respond to my question and was very accommodating. Me and my group loved this house and would definitely book here again!!

Client Golf Trip

House was in a good location not too far from things and had lots of bedrooms and bathrooms which was great for our group. Inside of the house was clean and presentable. The exterior left quite a bit to be desired for a house of this price and the fact that we were bringing customers on the trip. Not the best impression and did not really align with the caliber of house in the photos. Grass was overgrown and very weedy. The deck attached to the house is in pretty rough shape and we needed to make sure to wear shoes to avoid splinters or a nail when walking out for morning coffee. Fortunately, there is a great view of the lake to enjoy!
