Beautiful property and cozy cabin. Our boys enjoyed fishing (caught bass), and we enjoyed walking around the pond with our dogs. Spectacular sunset view.
Will definitely come back to this little oasis in the woods. Itâs convenient to all that area has to offer and the property is beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful wknd!
We had a great time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could want to use, even fishing rods to use for the pond. We are planning to stay here again next year.
Excellent getaway! Convenient location, wonderful, secluded cabin with a beautiful pond. The hosts are amazing and extremely responsive. They have thought of everything including enough towels, TP, and even laundry and kitchen staples. We all wished we could have stayed longer!
Goodness! The hosts were wonderful and the cabin was neat, tidy and so very comfortable. The view and setting of the house was out of a storybook and I can truly say, I wish I could have stayed longer. I definitely would book this house again.
This is one of the very best VRBOâs we have ever stayed in. The cottage came furnished with everything we needed and more. You can tell the host really cares about their visitors. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place near Blowing Rock. The pond, fire pit and horseshoes are a bonus! Great porch for coffee.
This sweet cabin was the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Tucked away by a peaceful pond, it felt like a private escape, yet it was just a short drive to the charming town of Blowing Rock. The cabin was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The pond was a plus for us since our grandson loves to fish and the porch was the perfect place to sit and relax with coffee in the mornings and just enjoy the cool mountain air. Our host Jennifer was easy to communicate with and even left homemade soap for us! A great little getaway!
My sray at this cabin was nothing short of a real privilege. It was clean, quiet, and in a perfect and serene atmosphere. The cabin lacked nothing. Anything you might need for your stay is provided. From kitchen needs to plenty of fresh, clean linens , and even a pond to fish. The hosts are responsive and friendly. I so look forward to my next stay.
"Rocky Meadows" has been in my family since around 1929. My fathers' great aunt Minerva Walker Goldsmith "Aunt Bea" purchased Rocky Meadows around 1929 in order to spend summers away from the heat of Palm Beach. Aunt Bea was known for her modernist watercolor landscape paintings. She developed a love for the mountains and sold property to her friends, one being Phillip Moose, and established Artist Alley. My father built this cabin with very little assistance in 2006. It took him 2 years to complete.
Privacy, pet friendly, beautiful mountain setting, outdoor stone grill, gas grill, bonfire pit next to pond, fishing dock, close to ski resorts and restaurants
