Welcome to The Escape Cabin!

The Escape Cabin is a 2BR/2BA log cabin conveniently located in the heart of Boone. Within a fifteen (15) minute drive, guests have access to High Country favorites like Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventures Zip Line and Aerial Park, Mystery Hill, and Valle Crucis Community Park. This cabin is also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, providing scenic drives and hiking for all skill levels. Appalachian Ski Mountain is twenty (20) minutes away, with winter favorites like skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating.

This cozy cabin nestled in the woods provides a peaceful, private getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The wrap-around porch boasts Adirondack seating, a gas grill, outdoor dining, and a fire pit. Inside the home, the open floor plan includes an intimate living area around a large HDTV and the kitchen, with dining for four (4) at the kitchen island. A hot tub has been added as of 10/21/21.

The master bedroom has a king bed, an HDTV, a gas fireplace, and an attached full bathroom with a jetted tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a reading nook and HDTV. Across the hall is a full bathroom with a combo tub and shower. Both bedrooms are on the main level.

This home is pet-friendly, has a laundry area in the lower level, and there is parking for three (3) vehicles. Owners provided a PlayStation 3 for entertainment. There is easy access to the house up one step.

Everything was great. Only thing that needs fixing was that 2 of the jets don't work on the whirl pool tub in the bathroom. It's our second time here and we always have a great time.

We had such a quiet and lovely stay here. The location is perfect for folks wanting to be close to town but also feel a little isolated. Well equipped kitchen and very responsive rental company. We can’t wait to come back!

House is in a great location and was clean. Loved the hot tub, large deck and fire pit. The kitchen was not as equipped as I’d like. For example, there were no wine glasses and minimal plates.

Great Cabin

Nice, warm, lovely cabin. Close to restaurants and groceries. We saw deer in the yard everyday. Jacuzzi was clean. And kitchen had everything we needed!

Spring semester visit

I had a great visit and a “Great Escape” experience. My son and I loved the cabin and its location! So convenient to App State and yet so peaceful and relaxing! Everything was perfect and as described. We had everything we needed. I would definitely return.

Convenient hideaway

Located very close to all things Boone but very private and well-screened. Very clean and the hot tub was so appreciated (as were the grill and fire pit) during this mild March week. Management was very responsive to questions. Thank you!

Awesome Get Away!!

Cozy cabin, great location, and our fur baby was allowed to enjoy a weekend away with us! Several places would not allow us to take our Cane Corso, which is our little princess, thankful for this great find! Highly recommend!!

Boone Wedding.

We stayed here for a wedding in Boone. It was very comfortable and cozy. The location is great just a 5 min. drive to downtown.

Escape Cabin

Cabin was clean & comfy….very private. Was hoping for Mountain View. Thought I had read that in description but guess I was wrong. All switches were labeled so very easy. In fact everything in cabin was labeled! Property manager was very quick with responses.

Good location and excellent property

The house is comfortable and the hot tub and gas fire pit were great! The location is noisy (proximity to the road), but when the windows are closed, it's quiet enough to sleep.

Beautiful Cabin in Great Location

We absolutely loved our stay here. We decided to do a little Christmas getaway and this was perfect. Right in the middle of Sugar Mountain and Appaloacian Ski Resort which were out main activities. Roughly 5 minute drive to downtown Boone. Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

A great place to hang out on a rainy, chilly weekend to enjoy catching up with friends. The house had puzzles, games, books, movies - we couldn’t get bored! Cozy and fun.
