**PLEASE NOTE: Roofing work is being done on the Kintla & Morning Eagle buildings - April 10th for several months. Access may be limited to the parking garage - Message from Whitefish Mountain Resort - "During the project, there will be temporary closures of building and garage access as needed to maintain safety. Fencing will be installed around the buildings, and the crew will have safety personnel on-site to monitor and address any risks" **


This is a perfect location to be right on chair lift 3. The ski locker is on the floor that opens up to the chair lift. This 2 bedroom condo is very spacious. There is a full kitchen with all the amenities as well as an efficiency kitchen in the studio portion.

This is the best location. We have stayed here the last two years and love the mountain. We hope to return next year with more family.

Great condo right on the slop

Great condo - plenty of space and balconies. Location is perfect right by chair 3 that is open for night skiing as well. We really enjoyed our stay, and the amenities - including the hot tub and sauna in the building. Communication was easy and management company always available! Thank you!

But the unit is dated and needs some TLC/Updating and more storage for people staying longer than a few days [we stayed 10 days].

I could live here!

I know a vacation is supposed to be just a moment in time but the couple days we spent in this condo right on Whitefish mountain made me start to think that maybe I should live right on the side of a mountain in a place just like this. Everything about it was perfect. Jennifer with the property management company was fantastic as well. 100% recommendation for this property in a place just like this.

Mountain views

We loved being on Big Mountain in the summer. It was great to see the peaks of Glacier in the distance from the windows of the living room. Because it was summer, the property felt quiet and there were not a lot of other guests. We enjoyed the chairlift up to the summit house one day and the alpine slides. The lodge is close to downtown Whitefish, and not too long of a drive to Glacier National Park, so it was a good homebase.The unit had everything we needed - pots, pans, utensils, grill, etc. Both bedrooms have king beds and the washer/dryer were great to be able to use. We even used the gas fireplace one day after an unreasonably cold day with wind and rain to dry our gear. We'd love to come back in the winter to ski and stay in this unit again!

Everything was perfect

This is our second stay in this unit. It is just as described. Communication is excellent, check in is easy, unit is very clean, and it is very well stocked with everything you need to settle in and enjoy your vacation. We like to use the Snow bus to go into town and shop for groceries and then prepare our own meal, but there is a small grocery store in the village to pick up groceries as well. Unit is on same floor as lockers, so walk out your door, walk down the hall put your gear on and walk out the door to chair 3.

Wonderful Unit

The condo was wonderful. This was our 15th year skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort and the condo at Kintla did not disappoint us. Check-in was easy, the unit was clean and had everything we needed from linen to a very well equipped kitchen. The facility has ski lockers and you walk out the back door to chair 3 which connects to all the lifts or you can walk over to the day lodge. There is a small grocery store, shops and several places to eat. Unit has a beautiful view of Flathead Valley. Check-in was easy and everyone went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We look forward to returning.

Clean with amazing location to chair lift

Great stay for our family of 4. Everything about the apartment was clean and well maintained. The check in procedures are designed for drivers with their own car. We took the train, and planned to take the shuttle up to the mountain, but that was not realistic, as you need to stop at the main office at the bottom of the mountain to pick up the keys. We got an uber, which was not a big deal, but the key pickup procedure was a bit unclear and surprising for those planning to ride the free shuttle bus. If room-key pickup at the actual property is a possibility, that would be a great change in the future. If you drive your own car, it will be very easy. Would definitely return and rent here again sometime.

Mid-Week Stay

Overall the stay was good.Pros:- Location, and view overlooks the Bierstube Restaurant/Greater Whitefish.- The space is on the 2nd floor where the ski locker is. The complex is built into a hill, where the 2nd floor is ground level when exiting out the back toward chair 3, while the 1st floor is ground level.Cons:- The thermostat was not adjustable as far as I could tell, and ambient temps ran hot (for me) at 74F. This has a way of canceling the value of the fireplace.- At least 1 queen size mattress is ready for replacement due to it's uneven support.- The VRBO listing states checkout is at 11am, but the notification to vacate states 10am (!)
