The Vitamin Sea is a studio apartment located on the ground level of our house(no steps to climb). Its equipped with everything you may need during your getaway. The studio has its own entrance and a private outdoor area to enjoy a morning coffee. It's only 0.7 mile walk to the beach (approximately 15 min depending on the pace) and a few blocks away from Mama Kwan's and Plaza Azteca. It's centrally located in Kill Devil Hills. We live upstairs-a family of 3, our son is 5y.o+ our new addition -a mini golden doodle puppy, Skye. You will most likely hear our voice and footsteps. Potential for noise.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway! Such cute decor. Good communication with host. We were able to check in a lil earlier. Very clean. Bed is comfy. Had treats for my dog. Enjoyed coffee in the outdoor area. Definitely recommend!

The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for both sunny and rainy days. The shower was amazing, and the location had perfect access to everything Outer Banks has to offer. Minutes from the wright brothers monument, close to several beaches. Only a quick drive up to Duck for water sports and ice cream; or down to Rodanthe and Cape Hatteras for camping and wild life preserves. Will be visiting again!

The place is fabulous. Exceptionally clean, cozy and high tech. The patio out the door is a great place to have a few drinks.Only a few blocks from the highway.I would go back in a heartbeat.

Cozy comfort

The property is impressive, high tech features, lovely decor. It gave me the right vibe for a relaxing stay. I traveled with a friend, she took the queen bed and I slept on a pull out sofa. The sofa bed is better for a child but I found it surprisingly comfortable. The apartment is very dog friendly, the owner had dog treats available and a set up for a feeding station. You cannot cook big meals but I didn’t go to the beach to cook. The kitchen area is supplied for a light breakfast or lunch. There is a grill on the patio for those on a food budget.I would highly recommend this cozy apartment.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay here! It’s a basement rental, but was private and set up perfectly. It was clean, had just the right items, and we loved how close it was to the beach. I highly recommend it and would stay here again.

One Day Stay

Overall the property was just as described. We enjoyed the separate space provided it was very clean and just enough space of us. New shower design without door, so be careful because the bathroom floor can get a bit wet and similar to other folks you could here the family above but it wasn't loud at night which is all that mattered. Great spot and very close to the beach, restaurants and state parks. Happy we found this gem.

Best VRBO I Have Ever Stayed At

This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I. It was extremely clean, smelt wonderful, came with lots of toiletries to use, a hairdryer, a cooler for the beach, and chairs too. The bed was very comfortable and the TV was easy to use. The entire apartment was sleek and modern, we just loved it. We never heard any noise from the owners and the neighborhood was very quiet. We have already said we would love to come back here if we need somewhere to stay again.

The property was as advertised. Very clean, spacious, and about 3 blocks from the beach. Close to restaurants. Hosts were very responsive when the hot water stopped working. Problem fixed in just a few hours. The property was in a residential area, very quiet with a nice outdoor seating area. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Quick Solo Getaway

This place is perfect for a solo getaway! It has everything you need for a few days/nights escape. It's a quick drive to the beach, as well as to the Nags Head Nature Preserve. The small touches of high quality dishes, soaps, linens, etc. make it feel luxurious! The small seating area outside the door is ideal. The host was very nice and quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend!

Safe, clean and fun!

One of the best places I’ve gotten to vacation in! There were so many small touches (makeup towel, snacks, card games) made by the host that made our stay wonderful! It was clean and pretty. We felt very safe walking our dog around the neighborhood at night. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Very nice property

This studio was lovely. Hostess was very nice. It definitely met our needs as we didn’t want steps. The only problem was that our code didn’t work. Our hostess rapidly corrected the problem for us.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The studio was recently remodeled and designed from scratch. You will love the walk in rain shower and cement tiles! Please note that we live upstairs and you may hear the noise from above. However, if total silence is a must for you, our place may not be the best for you. Pets are welcome for an additional $25 fee. Its limited to 1 small, housebroken well behaved dog. No cats, sorry! No pets on the furniture please.
2 vehicles max (please park to the left side of the parking lot). 4 adults max.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We respect your privacy but are available if you need anything during your stay. You can reach us via text, call or just knock on the door for immediate assistance. If you see us don't hesitate to say hi!
The studio is within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and shops. It will take you about 15 minutes to get to the beach by foot or just 2-3 min if you drive. There are multiple public beach accesses within 1 mile from the house and you should have no problem finding a parking spot. It is difficult to find any parking from 10 am - 5 pm during summer months.
