Hey, Get A Room is a studio apartment that is privately located on the ground level of a home surrounded by beautiful live oak trees. You'll have your own private deck to relax after a day at the beach or site sightseeing'. It's only a five minute bike ride to the beach or sound for those beautiful sunsets and many awesome restaurants to enjoy.
There's a public beach access with parking and a bath house 2 minutes away by car.

Cozy nights on the deck with a fire in your chiminea.

You have your own keyless entry for easy check in, Queen bed, deck, outdoor dining area, outdoor shower, 2 beach cruisers, beach chairs, back yard with a hammock. A kitchenette with a Kuerig, Toaster oven, and small fridge.

Just the perfect size for 2

We live in Virginia and decided to whisk away for a few days in the outer banks. (We love to play miniature golf and have travelled all over the U.S. playing all kinds of zany courses.) This was the first time we stayed in any kind of small rental unit rather than in a chain hotel. It was an absolutely wonderful experience! The host made everything perfect. She was available whiall the instructions very clear - down to the reserved parking spot - and everything we needed was included. Considering all the amenities that are included, it ended up being less expensive than any of the hotels we could have booked, and it was so much nicer.

Perfect couple’s getaway!

This property was perfect for our long weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed! Great size for the 2 of us. While we didn’t use the bikes or outdoor shower it’s a great option. We loved that the beach was a 3 minute drive! Made the sunrise more doable! Would definitely stay and recommend!

September Stay

Very convenient to restaurant’s (Hurricane Mo’s, Black Stallion, Barefoot Bernies) and the beach, but just far enough away to avoid crowds and traffic. We just showed up, everything we needed at the studio apt and for the beach was there for us to use.

Nice getaway

Very nice area with a nice sitting area out side everything is well kept up and the property owners and very nice and helpful the room was cute and was perfect for me and my wife we let them know we wanted to do a fire one night and they had everything setup from the chairs to the fire pit all we had to do was light the fire starter and watch it take off they had already had a bucket with more wood and a poker next to the fire pit they are in a great location we will definitely be coming back

Perfect getaway space for two

Wow! Holli goes over and beyond to make people feel comfortable in this space. It’s cozy and simple, but there’s a lot packed in. The room itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable- smart tv, comfortable furniture, and easy to come and go locks. The spaces outside cry for you to come and enjoy them. There is a lot to take advantage of as this spot is very close to both the beach and the sound and restaurants and shops, but it still felt like a private little getaway tucked away in a sweet neighborhood- not loud beach house rows. We were so lucky to meet Holli in person and she felt like a friend we had known forever. Every restaurant or bar suggestion she made were just as amazing as she said they would be. (Swell’a brewery and Art’s Place) We will definitely be coming back to Hey, Get a Room the next time we come to the Outer Banks.

A really great place to stay for proximity to the beach and other things to do in the OBX! The host was great with communication. Perfect for a couple. Private place in a quiet neighborhood. They've added so many small conveniences and a few large ones. Very considerate of what travelers would need. The hosts are friendly but respect privacy. Also know everything about the islands and are part of the history! Ask Holli about her connections. Highly recommended.
