Views were outstanding, very nice spot on the mountain. With more snow, it would have been a true ski-in/ski-out location. We have stayed at Purg 5 times, and this was our favorite by far!

This was amazing place for a family ski vacation! It is walking distance to the lifts, but also just a nice open place for hanging out and laughing. Adults, teen, kids and the dog all had a wonderful time.

Nice and very convenient to the mountain!

We had a great stay with plenty of room for our family of 6. It was a short walk up to a hill where we could ski to the lift. The beds were comfortable and the place had everything we needed for our 5 night stay.

Family getaway

This condo was very comfortable for our family. It was super clean and well stocked with cookware and utensils. Parking is a bit tricky. We would definitely rent here again.

Family and dog friendly 7 minute walk to slope

Beautiful home that was an easy ski back to cabin for advanced skier. Skier friendly, Dog friendly, teenage friendly place to stay by the resort. We loved it! Ski ready room inside the house. Kitchen had everything that you needed. Loved it! Thank you!

Cable issues. Kitchen not quite as clean as it should be. Items found under beds. But overall we loved the location and how well it was stocked.

Great property, Excellent location

Layout and # of rooms was perfect for our visit. Beautiful views out of most windows, and great proximity to Purgatory resort. Still had a little bit of a hike to the skiing trails, but was able to ski back through the property right to the driveway. House was clean and well organized, although the front door didn't latch without the deadbolt, it wasn't a big deal. The TV remote in the livingroom also had some issues with the volume button, but also was not a big deal. Overall the location and layout of the house was great, and we'll look forward to any future visits.

We rented this condo for a spring break ski trip. The snow was a little lacking this year, but the condo was great, and exactly as described. First of all, the place is big. It has 4 legitimate bedrooms, all with the beds described. The kitchen is large for a rental, and is stocked for a group....there were probably 20 plates. Others commented that it's not exactly ski-in-ski-out. This is true, there is a walk to the slopes. We drove and dropped off skiiers and equipment so only one person had to make the walk (and that without gear). Some other reviews note that it's out dated; and yeah, there's some older stuff, but nothing important. The only wonky thing was the bathroom in the master bed/bath is open - like it's all basically the same space. It wasn't a big deal for us, but I could see how that could be annoying for some.

Nice place, but not that nice

This place advertises as a minute walk from the Purgatory Resort. It's actually close to a 10-12 minute walk away. Definitely not ski-in/ski-out. The cookware is old. We found dirty pots and pans put away in the cabinets. The lighting in the entire place is inadequate. It's still a nice cozy place, but it didn't quite meet our expectations.

Thank you for your feedback and glad you found the townhome cozy! Our listing advertises "Close To Lift At Purgatory" and "you can utilize an unpublished ski run to get to the chairlifts." The 1 minute walk you are seeing on the listing is the map that VRBO publishes automatically letting guests know proximity to locations in the surrounding area. Sorry for the confusion. Housekeeper has gone through the pots/pans/dishes in all cupboards. We have not had any mention of inadequate lighting from any past guest but will reevaluate. Thank you for being our guests.

December Ski Trip

We booked this property for the main purpose of skiing at nearby Purgatory. We usually stay at the lodge but waited too late and when they were booked, we needed a place to stay that would accommodate two families of 4 who would mostly be skiing. This property was great! It is dated but very clean and well kept. Gorgeous views from the living room and deck. The kitchen was stocked with every thing we needed for cooking (minus a crockpot- if there was one I could not find it). The beds were comfy. There was a side closet to store ski boots and helmets as well as an outside area to store skis. The washer and dryer were a plus to dry wet ski clothes. We enjoyed our stay but the only downside was it is not ski in/ski out. You have to walk about a quarter mile to the bunny hill to get on the lifts. We have older kids that can carry their gear but this could be difficult for families with littles. We made it work. Other than that great house in pretty good location. Hosts were very thorough in checking in before we even arrived!
