This condo is WONDERFUL! The location was perfection and the mountain view was amazing! The condo was so clean and stocked better than any house we have ever stayed at before. The owners were so kind and helpful with questions and allowed an early check-in since we were in town early. We will definitely be staying here again!
An excellent property, well stocked and clean. It was a great location for our ski trip, an easy walk (150m) to the slopes. Jonathan answered all of our questions promptly and was an excellent host.
Quaint condo in the Purgatory village. No ski in/ski out, but a short walk to the lifts. Hallway can be very noisy at times with kids running up and down. Quiet at night though. I would stay here again!
Easy access from Angelhaus to the slopes. Clean and well stocked condo. Extra games and toys for small children if needed and one of the better stocked kitchens we have had in the same venue.
The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues with anything in the unit. Very easy short walk to get onto the slopes. The only thing that I wouldâve asked to be improved upon was the carpeting in the unit is quite worn and stained. Everything thing else was fine. Thank you.
This condo has a great location on Purgatory for all the activities. The kitchen has so many extras- one of the best appointed kitchens in a rental Iâve ever seen.
Really enjoyed our time here! The property owner made it a great place to stay and he was really easy to communicate with and was quick with his responses! The condo is very cozy and has easy access to the ski area which was just a short walk to. My kids loved the bunk bed he built! You have to remember that the building is not a brand new building but the feel of it and how the condo has been set up makes it a worthy place to stay! Weâve rented about 9 different condos on the mountain and this one is one of the good ones to stay at! Thanks Jon for letting us stay here!
The building is not new, but the beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean. We were able to easily control the temperature of our space. Our family of 4 found the living area to be a bit cramped and a bit noisy when neighbors are active. Fortunately most skiers are in bed early. It's a hike to the ski rental area, but can be considered ski in ski out. The property manager/owner was five star super nice and helpful. We received outdoor uncovered parking for one vehicle. Overall good value for the price.
Pros: very clean (for the condition) and 5-10 min walk to main area/lift
Cons: extremely outdated, very in need of a full renovation of carpet, bathroom and all furniture. Very loud if people are walking upstairs - thin walls. Communication was prompt but had to text for check in instructions, unit number not in address, âhow toâ binder in condo was not current with updated info (WiFi, etc).
This is a good place for you if you just care about the location and access to the mountain and need a little more space (four people).
This review has nothing to do with a poor experience with the lodging just an honest review of what to expect if you choose to book this unit. The owner had great communication and quick in responses. The unit is NOT ski in/out. It is at least a 200 yard walk (through an uneven parking lot) to the main lift. Anyone who has skied with kids knows that you do a lot of schlepping of gear and when you book something listed as ski in/out the expectation is you walk out the door and drop your skis on a run ready to go. The unit itself is clean and comfortable enough but very dated. While the major appliances have been updated (however the dishwasher is very loud) the remainder of the unit has furnishings that could be updated. The mattress in the master is very soft with a canyon that has developed in the middle causing the occupants to roll towards each other, my kids did say their mattresses were comfortable and we did appreciate the queen over queen bunk giving kids in the secondary bedroom plenty of space. The building is antiquated. You will hear all your neighbors. The public hot tub was inoperative during our stay (which wasn't a problem for us and the owner offered to make other arrangements) but it did not look particularly clean or appealing. The wifi is not an individual connection but a connection to the resorts free wifi which makes you question the security. I will choose an upgrade for my next stay at Purgatory.
