Waterfront Property! This fabulous house is located on Tubbs Inlet Bay and features incredible views of the marsh and bay. It has a private dock, so bring your boat and/or your jet skis. It also has a sought after private, outdoor pool.

The home features updated furnishings and interior amenities including 6 new large Smart TVs (Netflix and Amazon streaming capabilities) with HD cable boxes, surround sound stereo in the family room, karaoke and high speed internet and WIFI.

The two large master bedrooms on the top floor feature king beds, en suite bathrooms and walk-in closets. They open onto private covered balconies that face the bay. The upper floor also features a TV sitting area and a laundry closet.

The two bedrooms on the main floor feature en suite bathrooms, and are furnished with a single queen bed (bedroom 4) or two queen beds (bedroom 3). They both open onto decks. The main floor also features a large, open plan kitchen/dining/living room and a half bath. This room opens onto the huge main deck with outdoor dining table and chairs.

Outdoors you will find a fenced, waterfront backyard with private swimming pool, a charcoal grill, and floating boat dock. Get out on the water with the two kayaks and explore the marshes and bay or even pull up on one of the many sandbars. The beach is an easy 9-10 minute walk or use the available golf cart and bicycles. Sunset Beach has recently implemented paid parking. Parking will be free for our renters when using our golf cart. A renter will be responsible for paying the parking fee if they use their personal vehicle anywhere but the driveway at 1518 N Shore Drive. No pets please.

Beautiful Stay at Sunset

This home is beautiful, roomy and well appointed. The golf cart got us to the beach and back, but the pool kept us cool and the dock was great for fishing and kayaking. Beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Highly recommend this property.

First time staying at Sunset Beach ❤️

We had a great time! The location was quiet and was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was perfect and the deck overlooking the pool was a favorite spot for morning coffee, reading and planning for the day. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house

This house met all our expectations. We loved the large open space in the kitchen and living area. The amenities were outstanding. Our family especially enjoyed the pool area and fishing from the dock. The golf cart was perfect for trips to the beach.

Sunset 40th Anniversary and 60th Bday Celebrations

House layout was perfect for our group of friends. Accommodations were ample for our group of 7 although our old joints would have appreciated furniture that sat a little higher off of the ground. We loved the private pool and access to the canals/inlet/ICW provided by the deep-water dock. We loved it so much, we are already booked again for next year!

The house was great and in a great location. Everything was like advertised and well maintained. Beach chairs/toys available for those that needed. Very nice to have the golf cart to cruise the island with.

Relaxing

This is the 3rd consecutive year we have vacationed in this home. We typically come with our friends and have decided we love vacationing together. We have already booked this home for 2 weeks next summer. The decking becomes extremely hot but keeping flip flops next to the pool entry solved the problem of burning feet. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful home with a fantastic host!

This was our first stay at this property but hopefully won't be our last. The home had an ideal layout for our family needs and came with all sorts of amenities. The home was clean, comfortable, and had incredible views of the water. Janet was fantastic to work witb. She was always quick to respond with any questions we had. If you are considering this home, do yourself a favor and book it right away!

Family vacation

Beautiful house. We enjoyed all the open space. The location was great for our family. Not a lot of traffic or noise. The dock was great for evening relaxing. We wish our weather would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool and decks.

This is our 5 time staying at Janet's house on Sunset Beach. It is perfect. The pool makes a fun experience for the children and give the adults a rest from watching them at the beach. We also fish, unfortunately we did not catch any keepers, but if we had the kitchen is so well stocked that it would not have neen a problem. A perfect Sunset Beach vacation.

Relaxing Trip

We just returned from a week long stay at Janet's property in Sunset Beach. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. From the time we booked through our stay Janet's communication was great and timely. We had a slight issue at arrival accessing the house, but she was very accommodating. We used of the golf cart, elevator, pool, dock. The cleanliness of the house was superb. The house was very inviting and homey. We can't wait to book again soon!

Restful Week

Beautiful property, everything you could want in a vacation rental. The owner was extremely kind and responsive to our issue with the golf cart. The kayaks and pool were so wonderful that we barely went to the beach. Very comfortable home with everything you could need.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's house. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and perfect for myself and my husband, our 2 teen boys and our elderly in-laws. The elevator was a huge help for them to get down to the main level. Our boys loved the pool and it was great to have the dock to park the boat for the week. The golf cart made getting to the beach so easy. We had a wonderful week - thank you!

Our favorite rental on Sunset Beach

We were fortunate to stay at this lovely home again, and were so thankful. It's our favorite on the island! It has a beautiful view, is always clean, is on such a nice street, and is very comfortable. My favorite thing about it is how home-like it feels, versus a rental. The primary bed is so comfortable, the decks are so enjoyable, and it's just a lovely home all around. Love having a pool that is in the sun too! Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Perfect house for someone in a wheelchair.

Pleasantly surprised when we returned to this house. We had stayed there for several years in the past but it was sold last year. The new owner made the house feel like an inn rather than a rental. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and found new mattresses and kitchen utensils and polished floors and fresh paint. The private pool and new elevator were wonderful and the owner quickly responded when the pool needed to be cleaned.

Sunset Beach Paradise

Jan's property is the nicest home rental we have ever stayed in on Sunset Beach. This was our second time renting and it was just as great. Jan is very quick to respond to any questions. The house was very clean upon arrival and is well stocked with kitchen appliances, utensils, plates, and cookware. The outside area is superb. The pool is perfect and the dock is a great place to fish, especially in the mornings and evenings. The golf cart is a great addition as it is much easier to parallel park near a beach access than a car. We had no trouble finding parking all week we were there in July 2024. I would highly recommend renting this property if you are going to Sunset Beach. For those unfamiliar with the area, Bill's Seafood at the roundabout sells great fresh seafood as well as homemade dips and Key Lime pies. There are plenty of restaurant options in Calabash, I highly recommend The Oyster Rock on the water. There are also numerous golf courses in Sunset very close to this house, specifically Sea Trail and Sandpiper Bay.

Impeccable

What a beautiful house to vacation in! My family of 5 (2 teens and a 5 year old) was also joined by my mother and mother-in-law for a few days. There was plenty of space for us to not feel on top of each other. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed our home cooked meals at the outside table looking over the water. Perfect! Even though it was an unseasonably cool week for June, we braved the chill and enjoyed the pool several days. The golf cart saved the day since the walk to the beach was a little far with a young child and her beach toys. The pier out back was the perfect spot to introduce our kids to fishing and the fish were biting. We caught 6 in about 30 minutes. The neighborhood is wonderful, the neighbors were lovely and the house was amazing. Everything was so clean and inviting. We are already planning our vacation there next year.

Sunset Beach Escape

Janet’s home is stunning! The house is as pictured and exceeds expectations. The elevator and golf cart make all floors accessible and we’re game changers for our group. Janet was so attentive to any questions or needs throughout our stay and even left a little bottle of wine for a vacation toast when we arrived. Sunset Beach was a daily “must” and one of the most beautiful beaches along the coast. We went back and caught many beautiful sunsets there too. A little general store had some necessities, but travel over the bridge necessary for all restaurants. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back some day.

Family owned and well kept

When we travel with our medically fragile young man, we must have accommodations that work well with his wheel chair, bath and bed. And we must have access to the owners when things are not working correctly. This house meets all those needs.
