Happy to provide more information as necessary.
It is located in North Phoenixeville on a dead end street. It is an adjoined townhouse but not in a development.
Note: we are located near an active train track so please consider when inquiring.
Most walk the tracks to cut down time to get to Bridge St but walking the road takes about 15 min, 2 min drive.
Please note that the unit is located near active freight railroad tracks. Our three generation family lived in the space throughout the summer and had no issues and I`m a light sleeper. I wouldn`t recommend sleeping with windows open during summer months unless you`re a particularly sound sleeper. No shoes are allowed beyond the foyer/entryway of the home.
Towels and linens should be removed and placed in/near washing machine upon checkout.
Dishes should be placed in washer and turned on upon checkout.
Remove all food from refrigerator.
Remove garbage and recyclables from bins and place in cans outside.
There is a private driveway for off-street parking but please note that the owner may be onsite two (2) days/evenings during the work week at the bottom floor unit. This may require parking coordination if the guest arrives with multiple vehicles.
This place is amazing! They thought of literally everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Walking distance to the main part of town with great restaurants and shops. The hosts had a list of great recommendations for resturants/things to do while in town. Clean and comfortable, really felt like you were a guest in someoneâs house. 10/10. Best Vrbo listing weâve stayed at.
Property felt like home with extra amenities that went above and beyond. Everything was amazing including the ice cold A/C throughout the house during the heatwave.
Beautiful home, thoughtfully put together, and clean. The owners have thought of just about everything travelers may need. My family and I enjoyed our visit in Phoenixville and the Philadelphia area and this home made it an even better experience to come back to and relax.
Perfect place to stay! The house was central to all activities and was well maintained and thoughtful of every detail. We would return next time we visit the area.
The property is recently updated. Everything is new, spacious and tastefully decorated. House has all the amenities one would need away from
Home. Owner was always helpful and quick to respond . Overall our stay was enjoyable and We felt at home.
The pictures of this home do not do it justice. After a 16-hour drive when we arrived at the home and entered we were delighted that we had chosen this home. The entry was easy and secure with off street parking. The home was tastefully decorated and comfortable, some of the artwork is whimsical/historical and features Phoenixville. It was obvious the owners took pride in their community. They left a lovely card and welcome basket, some of the contents were made in right in Phoenixville. The kitchen had everything you would need or require. The washer and dryer is upstairs near the bedrooms and bathrooms. I found that to be very convenient. During our stay our grandchildren had the opportunity to watch the trains a couple of times and to their delight a deer and her two fawns crossed the backyard one morning.
The home is minutes away from downtown with its stores, boutiques, and restaurants. It is convenient to Valley Forge and not far from Lancaster, or other areas of interest. During our stay we had a question, and we found the owners very helpful. We loved and enjoyed our vacation time in this home and would rent it again!
If the opportunity arises, I will rent again. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Host was very nice and easy to communicate with. Train comes by a few times a day/night but is not loud inside.
We had a pleasant stay for over a month while working and visiting friends & family in this very spacious property filled with lots of modern amenities. This is new construction that stands out in neighborhood. It was more than enough space for just the two of us and our small dog, and it would definitely handle a larger family or group without feeling cramped. The quality, high-speed internet was great given that we both working remotely from the residence. Given the tightness and population of the no outlet street the property sits at the end of, being able to park in the driveway on most days was key as street parking is often limited. Michael was quick to respond via text to any issue or needs that we had, and we appreciated & enjoyed the welcome gift. There is a very active trainline next to the property that we did get eventually become accustomed but unfortunately could never fully ignore. The master bedroom is large, but the small queen bed it has was personally too firm for us, and we did wish it was a larger bed with a softer mattress given the length of our stay. While we didnât feel comfortable walking as the listing suggests, Bridge Street is a very close 2- or 3-minute drive to enjoy the happening Phoenixville downtown and all it has to offer.
My wife's job relocated her to Collegeville from DC. We went up looking to rent a commuter apartment and fell in love with Phoenixville so decided to move ahead with something more permanent!
We came across this property by chance. It was not yet listed, but thanks to our agent, she took us on a tour. We liked that it was a new build after our previous home was a long-term fixer upper and had a huge yard so close to the happenings of P-ville. We also appreciate the history of the area where our home is at (check out the map behind the bar from the 1800's) and wanted to retain some of those elements throughout the home.
The proximity to the Phoenixville "scene" is probably the best part if that suits your style. We also enjoy the ability to step off of the backyard onto the abandoned train tracks for a walk across the Schuylkill River. The property is also a stone's throw to the trail. When the weather is warm, we like to hang out at the fire pit while the kids play on the obstacle course!
If you're sensitive to the sound of trains, please take note! There is an active line next to the house. I'm a sensitive sleeper but didn't have any issue after the first couple of nights. Since we're more accustomed to the city living it wasn't a problem.
