Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying here & it was wonderful! We got hit with some super gusty winds while there, but besides that it was a good stay! Location is amazing - right on the beach (which is pretty quiet) and near grocery stores and restaurants.

What a lovely, charming home! And on the beach, cant ask for more than that! My only comment would be that the kitchen could be a bit better stocked. Other than that, will definitely book again!

We knew that the "cottage type" houses in the neighborhood had mostly been torn down and "mega mansions" had replaced them because the friend we brought with us had grown up in the area years ago. It was better than perfect for 3 of us and our dog. Our friend is a cook which makes it even better. We went to the farmers mkt & bought food to cook so we could stay home w/our dog. And my husband got to go fishing right in front of the house.

Great location

Loved the location right in the sand and close to grocery stores and local restaurants. Appreciate the binder with local information - the recommended sushi place was a favorite. We could hear the sea lions barking from the house and they’re a short walk away on the beach!

Heavenly little Ca'Sea'Ta!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay in the little Ca'Sea'Ta on the Sand, and it definitely won't be our last! We grew up in the area, and are vacation rental hosts ourselves, so have pretty high standards in vacation rentals. We usually escape to Oxnard at least twice a year to decompress, and out of the dozens of rentals we have stayed in Hollywood Beach and the Strand, this has definitely become our favorite! It's not the biggest or fanciest of the rentals we've been blessed to enjoy, but the location, vibe and TLC poured into it are exactly the perfect fit for relaxation, making it our new favorite! It is clean, well stocked, comfortable, ADORABLE, and perfect for a quiet getaway. And those HUGE picture windows out onto the beach in the livingroom and kitchen!!! It doesn't get much better! ...EXCEPT for sitting in a sunny yellow adirondack chair staring at the ocean, with the lull of seagulls and crashing waves and a steamy hot cup of morning coffee!More practically speaking, the bed is a little too firm for us, but my hubby and I are willing to sacrifice a little sleep, because we have the whole rest of the day to relax in this amazing little place. And. beds really are such a personal preference, so no shade on the firm bed. Also, I did notice that they had replaced a few things that had seemed to be wearing out when we stayed a few months back due to the corrosive sea air, so the PM does listen to feedback and take care of it promptly. We notice new outdoor shower faucets and cafe lights, a new Keurig, and that they had replaced the gas grill outside. On that subject of property managers, we have been renting directly through ReMax Gold Coast for several years now, and have always found them to be fantastic to deal with... kind, friendly and professional! We will happily continue to rent properties through them in the future!

Beautiful place on the beach

I had an amazing stay at this rental property. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen is perfect for cooking small meals. The best part of it all is the location, right on the beach, and superb for surfing. Would love to come back and visit again!

What a gem! This charming little beach bungalow is full of character and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. The patio opens directly onto the sand—such an incredible feature! And the large picture window in the living room offers an epic view you’ll never get tired of.If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to update the linens—fresh towels, sheets, and bedding would really elevate the experience. But overall, this place was absolutely perfect for our little family!

A beautiful bungalow!

Waking up each morning to the beach right outside our door was amazing! The bungalow was spotless, very well appointed and the perfect place to come back and relax in after a day in the sand/water. The outdoor seating area facing the beach was perfect for sunsets.....and the seating area in front was perfect for our nightly bbqs. We can't wait to come back!

This was our second time staying at this location and it did not disappoint. The house is in a quite neighborhood and on the sand ! Overall the experience was great ! We will be returning again.

The perfect little beach house

This is the perfect little beach house. The house is so comfortable and the beach decor is so cute. All of the furniture including beds and couches are super comfortable. The place was very clean and we'll maintained. The best part is that you are right on the sand. I literally can't wait to go again!

Charming cottage

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming beach cottage! It was just the right size for our family of 4, and we LOVED that it was right on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the beds were comfy. It was so convenient and close to the marina for us to do fun activities on the water. We would definitely stay here again! The location of this home was perfect — close to everything and in a great area for a relaxing stay. The property management team was wonderful and very responsive, which made things easy from start to finish.That said, the house itself could really use some updates. You can tell that when things were fixed or remodeled, shortcuts were taken and lower-end materials were used. There were several signs of wear and tear, some electrical issues, and overall the home felt a bit dated for the price we paid. The linens and furniture could also use some attention.With a proper remodel and better upkeep, this place could easily be amazing because of the location and great service. Our stay was still good overall, but for the price, I think we could’ve found something a little higher quality nearby.

Calm little cottage by the sea.

The location could not get better with this sweet little home. The home was perfect for our needs. It was an easy check in process. The home was clean and well thought out for guests. They left a handy information book that was impressive. The space felt like home. I would recommend this home.
