Come enjoy our home. It was built in 2014 with families and friends in mind and is ideal for those that love the outdoors and their privacy.

Master bedroom with an ensuite and King bed

We have a full kitchen, deck, game room in the basement, and a fire pit out back.

In the winter, grab your boards and skis and head over to Okemo Mountain. You are also within a one-hour drive of five other ski areas, Killington, Stratton, Magic Mountain, Bromley and Mount Snow.

In the summer, golf, hike, bike, swim in lakes, enjoy an adventure course, and more.

After a long day of excitement, come back and relax in this spacious and comfortable house. Cook in a full kitchen or barbecue on the deck with all the tools you need to whip up something special for your group. Lounge in the living room next to the gas fireplace while streaming your favorite shows or movies. Play air hockey, foosball, or basketball in the basement, or just gather around the dining table for an evening of stories, laughs, and board games.

Wonderful Stay

Second time staying at this great property and everything was wonderful again. Communication with Kim the owner was always quick and easy. The house is spotless, so comfortable, and offers plenty of space to spread out. It is equipped with anything you might need. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again.

Rental Near Okemo

Very nice property. Kids enjoyed game room in basement. Dog loved the open field in front of the house. Ludlow is nice with many good restaurant choices. House is close to Okemo for hiking, alpine slide for kids and, obviously, skiing in winter. Other central Vermont destinations easily accessible.

Fantastic Getaway!

The house is just as advertised super clean and nice. The living room space is and a very comfortable hang out space for friends and family. We really enjoyed using the large grill and eating outside on the deck. The bedrooms were all spotless and the beds were super comfortable. Kim went above and beyond to answer the many questions we had leading up to our stay. Really can't say enough positive things about our experience. Will definitely return!!!

Relaxing with Family Friends and pets

This property is clean, roomy and inviting. Linens, towels ,pots and pans, dishes,utensils are all available. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. The owners/hosts are quick to answer any questions you may have.The owners/hosts take pride in their home and it shows..There is a Shaws Supermarket about 20 minutes away.The neighbors are kind and a pleasure to talk with. We can't wait for our next visit. Rita and Michael

Best VRBO Stay Ever!

What an amazing location and what an amazing home. The owners (Kim & Brandon) are the best. The home is perfectly appointed, incredibly spacious and the location is fantastic. We could not have asked for a better escape during this crazy time. The house is approximately 6 minutes from Okemo Mountain, 3minutes from Ludlow and less than a mile from Singletons and great restaurants in Cavendish, VT. Cavendish is a fantastic place with all the charm you would expect. There are numerous dining experiences, literally just down the road (Outer Banks Brewery, Murdochs on the Green, Singletons and many more). The house is tucked away with a single neighbor (Who is great). After a fallen snow it looks like a Hallmark card. If you are looking for an escape with all of the benefits that Ludlow and Cavendish can offer. Look no further than the Pine Box. We will be back again and strongly recommend the property. You literally cannot go wrong at this location. I was hesitant to write such a glowing review, as I didn't want to alert too many renters and jeopardize my families ability to return.

Picture’s Don’t Do Justice

Just spent a wonderful family weekend at this lovely pet friendly home near Okemo. Pictures do not do this home justice. It is cozy yet spacious enough to spread out. Comfortable. Super clean. Well appointed kitchen. Plenty of seating and gas fireplace in living room. A ton of games as well as game room in basement. Backyard firepit and seating, plus a huge open space in front of house to run with kids or dogs. Met neighbor and his dog Winnie who were very friendly. Communication with Kim the owner was always quick and easy. Near great brewery and town of Ludlow with many good pubs and places to eat. Great time! Thanks Kim. Loved our time at your wonderful home.

Vermont Fall Experience

My wife and family members all had a great time while staying at the Pine Box. The home was clean and in great shape upon arrival. Any questions that we had, both Brandon and Kim were super helpful with. Having this home for a few days definitely took the Vermont fall experience to the next level. We are planning a return trip back in the near future.

Vermont spring ski week

Great, clean, modern property! We had an amazing week skiing and enjoying southern Vermont. Okemo Mountain had awesome conditions, spent time in Weston, Dorset, Plymouth and Woodstock. Ate great meals at Sam’s Steakhouse, Echo Lake Inn, and the best deli sandwiches at Singleton’s in Proctorsville. We loved that this home was dog friendly!!!

The Pine Box was comfy, clean and private.

My husband and I stayed here for a week while working remotely with my in-laws in tow. The home was clean, well stocked with towels, blankets and kitchenware. The couches were super comfortable and they even a workspace if needed. The internet speeds were wonderful for working and browsing. Kim was very responsive and everything you could ask for in host. The neighbors are pretty awesome too!

Great Fall Vacation

Great area to visit during foliage season. Many things to do in the around Cavendish . The house is in a location and even with a family sharing the driveway we had our privacy. Would recommend this property to anyone wishing to see central Vermont. Kim and Brandon were great to rent from made evevything easy.

Great amenities & location

Big house with a lot of amenities - fun stuff for kids, laundry, plenty of towels, fire pit, etc. Just down the street from Ludlow, and great fishing spots. Around the corner from cafe, brewery, and little market. House was super clean, host super accessible for communication, and they left us a cute little welcome package of coffee, maple syrup, and pancake mix! Highly recommended!

Great!

I can easily put this rental in my top 5 best experiences. The house is spacious and really clean. You can tell Kim and Brandon put thought into everything as things were well organized and right at your fingertips where you needed them to be. The home is stocked with anything you might need. My favorite part was probably the hot, fantastic shower in the master bedroom and the comfy, heavenly bed. The neighbors were a bonus and no they don't bug you or anything but we did have a few good conversations and my son loved playing with their dog everyday in the yard. They loved the game room too. Kim and Brandon answered all my questions without hesitation and were great-they even left me a bottle of wine. Great experience and beautiful place.

Great vacation rental

We spent 7 weeks at this home tucked in a secluded community (of 2 houses) with our family and golden doodle this winter. All of us enjoyed the stay! Communication with owner was great; quick responses and very helpful. The plow guy helped us as well and it was nice to have someone local as a just in case. The neighbors were helpful and friendly and had a great companion for our dog. The house was clean and had all the necessities of home. There was a huge supply of plates, bowls, glasses! Beds were comfortable (the master was a little too soft for our liking but the rest were a comfortable firm which we enjoyed). The sheets were so soft and comfortable. I almost expected cheap sheets for a rental but they were great and washed well too! The basement was nicely done considering it was not finished. The carpet remnants made it warmer and we had lots of fun with the games down there. We missed not having a wood fireplace but the gas was nice and we even managed to have a fire outside once after digging out some of the snow. We miss everything about the house already as it quickly became our home and we loved being there.
