We were in Vermont for a sleep away camp visit. The house was in a quiet corner of town with great views of the mountains. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. We brought our dog down to the creek everyday to play. The house was quiet and stayed cool in the tree shade. WiFi worked great for working and the layout was great. Nathan was responsive and helpful.
Very nice accommodations, spacious and clean. Close to Killington but nice and quiet area. Near enough to stores/restaurants, local corner store very convenient.
Great and cozy stay close to Okemo (23 min). Very clean and pet friendly. Had all the amenities. Gas fire place was a bonus and kitchen has all you need to make a family dinner after a great day of skiing. .
Amazing property. Clean, beautiful location. The owner was outstanding. We had everything that we needed. Definitely rent this property again. We stayed over the Columbus Day weekend and the leaves were amazing.
The property was exactly as descibed. We had ample space for our stay. The proximity to the mountains was exactly what we wanted. The kitchen was well equiped to cook meals.for our group.and we were able to dine together. The gas fireplace was surrounded by couch which was nice for the familynto gather after dinner and watcha movie together.
This is the perfect family ski base for a family of 6 with or without a dog. It was cozy and spacious at the same time. Clean, quiet and very well stocked. Plenty of drawers, shelves and a large space at the entrance for all your ski gear. Beautiful Vermont views including a big, old barn with a cupola on top like something out of a postcard. It was about 13 minutes from Killington and not close to many dining options, but neither were an obstacle for us. Just a note that there are 2 bunk rooms in addition to the master. (We found that hard to tell in the photos.)We would definitely come back!
Nathanâs property was great! Comfy accommodations for our larger party and in a very central and convenient location. Nathan was a very responsive and helpful host. Great value as well!
My family has stayed here before, and we will likely return again. Each side of the duplex has everything we need, is a great location for us (outside Killington and Woodstock, yet nearby), and is dog friendly. We like the rural area as well. We find it to be a good getaway for us.
Nathanâs home is beautiful and exactly as presented. We enjoyed the fireplace after a day of skiing. The beds are super comfy! We will visit again when ski conditions are betterâŠ.Xmas conditions at Killington weâre icy and too challenging for our family.
The home was exactly as is shown in the pictures. Plenty of extra towels and linens and a very well stocked kitchen. Our only complaint would be that the internet name and password were completely wrong. It wasn't until the morning we were leaving that we opened up a book and happened to see a different internet and password inside. Also would be helpful to gave check out instructions such as linen and trash placement.there that was the correct one.
My family I rented this ski Chalet and weâre throughly impressed.
It might not be in Killington but itâs worth the small added time on your drive to the ski fields.
The Cabin is well appointed clean and very spacious.
Bedâs are comfortable and bathrooms are big and accommodating.
Would definitely rent there again.
I hate to write a good review cuz there go my chances on renting it again.
Thanks Nathan!
My family (of 4 plus a lab) and I had a really great week at Redhawk. Quiet, comfortable, well appointed home in the VT countryside. More than enough space for us. And we hope to be back. Short 10min drive to Skyeship at Killington, and 5-10 mins more to everything Killington. Also close to Woodstock VT in other direction. Small general store just up road. Everything you would need in kitchen, and bath, with TV, wifi. Owner helpful and responsive to any questions.
My wife, adult daughter and my wife's parents planned this trip for several months for a leaf tour outside of our home state of PA. We never have visited VT. But have tons of friends that have and recommended a few spots. We wanted to find a spot that would accommodate our 80+ year old parents and their walking limitations and allow us the opportunity to comfortably stay in for the night should we need a break . The location provided a great home-base for our meandering around the state. The property was spacious enough for the 5 adults to hang out and watch TV after driving around. The double -bunk beds and the main bedroom's bed were really comfortable. Being near Killington, the property had great views of its own. The weather was perfect. The leaves on the nearby hills/mountains put on a great show. Loved how many towns and sights were within an hours drive of the property. Would definitely stay again. The communication with the property owner was easy and efficient.
The property was more up-to-date and spacious than it appeared in the ad's photos, and it was thoughtfully designed and delightfully functional and cozy. Almost all that we considered to be essentials were there: a well-equipped, open kitchen and living area; a gas fireplace; a utility area / mudroom for boots; and--critically--pet friendly. It was a great place to serve as a "base camp" for hiking, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing. The view of the sunrise over the mountain from the driveway was breathtaking. The neighbors were friendly, and we enjoyed meeting them when walking our dog. The only drawback was the WiFi's connection to the external internet required troubleshooting and ultimately a workaround. I also recommend shades for a few more of the windows (like the front door). My family would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to someone with similar needs.
