Impeccable Home With Stunning Lake Views

This 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home is a rare find located between the dam and Hell’s Gate on Possum Kingdom Lake with panoramic lake views from the wall of windows in the open concept living, dining and kitchen. The large 8 person dining table is open to the spacious living area with floor to ceiling windows and rock fireplace. The living area features multiple seating spaces, all situated to take in the amazing views. The large island with seating for four allows for plenty of prep and gathering space. The kitchen includes all necessary cooking accessories including a Keurig and features a mixed drink machine. A washer and dryer is also available.
Numerous outdoor seating areas and decks, ensure you can always find a spot in the shade or the sun at any time of the day. Relax in the floating swings as the kids play in the wooden playhouse. A 2 story dock features large lounging chairs on the top level and an area for jumping into the lake. The lower level has an area to tie up a boat on the side of the dock and seating area for 6. The owners boat stays in the slip on a lift. The small cove behind the dock is great for swimming and floating as it is protected from the open water of the lake.
The King master bedroom has walk out access to the porch, water views and features and en suite with a separate tub and shower. The second king bedroom has private porch access, water views and a shared bathroom. There are also two additional queen bedrooms.

Great Views and a Great Vacation!

This was our fourth stay in the last five years, and the property never fails to be the best. The views are spectacular and relaxing. The property also was very clean and you have everything you need here. You won’t be disappointed.

70th Bday Celebration

Overall, we were VERY pleased with our stay. Fantastic panaromic view of the lake with great living area for games and hanging out with family….and swimming off the boat dock was awesome and loved the Woodfire electric grill. Anyone looking for a getaway on the lake, I highly recommend!

The house and entire property were absolutely beautiful, in excellent condition and located in a premium location. The views were stunning, the patios and outdoor entertaining areas were so beautifully decorated and relaxing. We loved the boat dock. Everything was perfect for our family vacation. This was our 3rd time to stay at this house and it was absolutely perfect, as always! It is even more beautiful than the pictures show, and the dock is easily accessible and perfect for swimming and fishing. The catfish we caught were huge! We’re already looking forward to next year!

Perfect spot with perfect views

One of our most favorite spots we have stayed yet over the last few years. We will definitely be staying here again. The location was easy to find, views from the living space are incredible and relaxing. The dock was a blast, we swam, jumped from the second floor and caught a lot of fish! Most of our time was spent on the dock. The beds were comfortable, and the master tub was very relaxing. Wished we could have stayed longer! Until next time!

Relaxing vacation

This property was located near boat rental, grocery store, and hiking trails. Anything we could need was just a few minutes away. We enjoyed our time at the Nix house it was relaxing, boat rental was easy, and we nice 4 days at the lakehouse. Fishing off the dock was fun and we had some tasty crappie one day. Our kids (ages 25 and 16) enjoyed themselves as well on the paddle boats. We all enjoyed our time and would definitely consider staying there again. Property management was outstanding, always quick to respond to any questions.

Amazing weekend!

We loved this property! Fantastic views, great kitchen and living area and super clean. Well stocked but not junky. Major bonus was whip sticks at the dock to keep your own boat. Kids loved jumping off the top of the dock and the fishing was decent. We had two families of 4. Just wish there was a bunk room but we knew that there wasn’t going in. We will definitely come back here!!

Awesome Views

This is our second time to stay here at PK Lake and the views are absolutely amazing. It is such a blessing, very relaxing and peaceful. The property management is also excellent, and cheerfully help with anything. The kids fished, swam and jumped off the deck into the lake. The large kitchen and open living area are wonderful with tons of seating for any occasion. The patios also have lots of seating. For us it provided good separation from the older kids and adults, and when we all got together to eat, the living and dining areas were perfect places to eat and enjoy the view. The kids are now saying, "when we come back next year...," so we know they love it too! You won't regret booking this place!

Memorable Vacation

Our family had a great experience. The views were spectacular and we took full advantage of the dock. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to leave our jet skis docked the entire duration of our stay. The rooms were clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. We would definitely visit this property again in the future.

PK family fun

Fantastic stay , the house was better than the photos and the photos were great. Main living area and kitchen was fun for our little grandkids and we could keep an eye on everyone. The only negative was the pellet grill was too dirty to use. The lawn was beautiful between all the rocks and dock was great for the boat and swimming.

Possum Kingdom Family trip

This was our second stay at the property, and we loved it! The home is absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed fishing off the dock every evening, we reeled in some huge catfish! It’s very close to Lush Resort and we picked up takeout from the restaurant, the food was great. We look forward to going back next summer!

So Many compliments, where to start?

I booked this property to celebrate. My husband’s 40th birthday with a total of 8 adults. The property and location was perfect. Upon our arrival, we cooked a meal to include baking salmon in the oven and grilling steaks outside. Although we had brought spices, it was a definite perk to have additional spices, flour, and sugar available in the pantry. We used the available cooking pots and were very appreciative of the convenience. The steaks also turned out great without an issue with the outdoor grill. Thereafter, We spent hours outside sitting on the lounge chairs. There were plenty seats for us all. Our summer night was complete sitting around a lit fire pit and we enjoyed our conversation with the lakeshore waves behind us. The following morning, as the men went on their guided fishing trip, the ladies all sat outside on the lounge chairs outdoors enjoying the view. And what a view it was! When it became warm, we retreated indoors to sit by the beautiful panoramic windows to finish our conversation. That afternoon, we took advantage of the boat dock and 5 of the 8 adults jumped from the second story deck into the lake. It was amazing. We stayed in the lake for hours. This property definitely delivered and we would love to go back sometime. We had no real concerning issues with the property and the owner was quick to respond to my texts promptly. The A/C and temperature was nice and cool. The bedding and towels were above average. The kitchen was well equipped and fully functional with convenience of a full pantry. The listing was as described and SO ENJOYABLE!

Already rebooking!

Spent a couple of days at the home. Bo & Clay were extremely helpful in the process. Able to rent our boat directly through them as well! Amazing home, beautiful lake views. We just left and already made reservations for our next visit!

Beautiful home in a great location!

We have stayed at many places on the lake, and I think this house is our favorite! The layout of the house is perfect, with plenty of windows to enjoy the lake views. The stairs going down to the dock are really nice, and the dock has underwater fish lights that were great for night fishing. We reeled in some big catfish! We all had a wonderful time and hope to return next summer!

Beautiful Place with Issues

The property was beautiful. The problem was the people who are renting it out leave the house like they are living in it. All the closets are full of their clothes. Bathrooms are full of their personal soaps, razor blades, medicines. I expect this at a friends house but not somewhere I am paying over a thousand dollars a night. The refrigerators and freezers were full of their food and when we said something we were told to throw away what we didn’t want. The pantry was full of their food. The barbecue was discustingly dirty. We had to clean it to use it. The back stairs on the deck were removed for repair and we were told we were lucky the deck had been completed. There is another entry to the dock, a rock pathway, of which most of the solar lights going down are not working or broken. The home was advertised as having a dock which we assumed we would be putting our boat and our jet skis in it but wrong. They had their boat and their jet skis stored there. In the paperwork it said the owners things would be in a locked cabinet that we should not try to get into.....we never even saw a locked cabinet. There was no information on how to run the tv or the sound system. We had one key and no garage door opener. We found a well fed rat in the garage with a large bag of dog food to keep him happy. The pillows on the bed need replaced and the lumpy pee stained pillow top needs replaced in the master bedroom. After taking the pillow top off the bed was comfortable. The property manager who opened the property seemed disturbed by the things we were showing him and said he would comp us. Then by the time we were leaving he had taken his wife out of the country for her birthday. This is when the other property manager took over and offered us a token amount for any inconvenience. I said it didn't sound like what the other property manager had said. We have not heard from either property manager since. I have stayed in many VRBO,s with my daughters and have never complained about any of them. This house does not seem to be up to VRBO standards. I feel it was misrepresented. I have since talked to friends who have rented homes in the area through VRBO and they say they have never found a home that all the peoples clothes and food are still in the house.

Wonderful weekend stay

This property was so well equipped! Very well stocked kitchen with everything you could need, great bar glasses, super soft beds and the views/seating areas the best in the lake. The property manager had everything set up perfectly! We will be back!
