Lakefront Home in Private Cove of Deerfield Resort with Boat Slip. Pet-Friendly!

Home has been completely updated, including all new decks with roof added to top deck. 3 Bedroom 3 Bath lakefront home, with a dock, located in a no-wake cove at Deerfield Resort on Norris Lake. House rental includes 1 boat slip. Main floor has a living room (with a 70 inch flat screen TV), kitchen, dining area, laundry room, and full bath with a deck off of the living room that faces the lake. There is also a grill on this deck. The Master bedroom is upstairs, above the living room, with a full bathroom and gorgeous views of the lake from the king sized bed (along with a 50 inch flat screen TV). The lower level has a second living room (with a 50 inch flat screen TV and arcade game), full bathroom and 2 bedrooms, each containing 2 queen sized beds in them, along with another deck off of each of the bedrooms that faces the lake.

Perfect Place on the Lake

Calm Water Cove was even more beautiful than expected! My friends and I were there for a girls weekend and everyone agreed it was an incredible place: extremely clean, very spacious, gorgeous views, easy access down to the water, and a very helpful host. Amy answered my questions quickly and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a fun weekend on the lake.

What a great week at Calm Water Cove

This is our family's second visit to Calm Water Cove, and won't be the last. Its such a clean, comfortable, great home, and a great location! The grand kids love swimming in the quiet, private cove off the dock.

Great location and plenty of room

4 queen beds in 2 bedrooms in the basement, plus a master suite and 3 full baths. The place was very clean and the living room was terrific for watching a movie together. We highly recommend this property.

Calm Water is in a beautiful setting, convenient location, and was an absolutely perfect house for our family. Everyone had a great time. The owners thorough instructions, and assistance sure made our stay easy and very comfortable. I will highly recommend this cute and very comfortable home!

Beautiful House

We travle to the lake multiple times a year and this house was everything we expected. Beds were comfy, house was clean, and kitchen was fully stocked. The kids went down to the dock multiple time to swim. Amy was very responsive when we had questions and all of the information we were given was accurate. We will definitely be reaching out to rent this house again. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience with our family.

Surprise Birthday Weekend

Went to Norris Lake to surprise my sister-in-law for a big birthday event. First time to visit the lake and loved it. We weren’t able to stay in the same marina as the larger group, however we found this awesome house that wasn’t too far away. In fact, it worked great because we had a very nice respite to ourselves when it was time to retire from the group. Loved the cove and the dock for our boat. The house was very nice. I think it was recently updated. Nice job! The ice machine was also a nice touch. Unfortunately we didn’t discover it until the last day, but definitely came in handy. Highly recommend. We’d definitely stay there again. Well done.

Family Weekend at the Lake

Our family so enjoyed every minute. A picture perfect view of the lake. Fully updated beautiful home. The walk to the dock is paved, a flight of stairs from the house to the paved path which is so helpful with carrying everything. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect place to stay at Norris

Our family stays at Norris each year for a week, and we have stayed EVERYWHERE on that huge lake. This, has been the best, though, with the perfect combination of location (Deerfield), lake access with peer, beautiful home and view, easy walk to the peer, excellent Wi-Fi, nice and flexible owner, and the list goes on.

Very nice place

Very nice place. Upon arrival the home was very clean. Beds were comfortable and home was well stocked with the essentials for our stay. Nice view of the lake. Was concerned about parking but host has added a little area of gravel for parking which was very helpful. We fit our full size truck, boat trailer, and one other vehicle without issue. The neighbors across the street feed the deer so if you like seeing wildlife you will enjoy this property. We saw no less that a half dozen deer every day.

Peaceful Getaway

We absolutely loved this rental! We rented this property to be close to family for a family vacation where we could bring our dog, Barley. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the area and the property are. It’s definitely more remote than we expected but we absolutely loved that about the area!! We enjoyed morning walks (4 + miles), coffee on the deck facing the very beautiful cove, swimming in the cove, sighting deer everywhere, exploring Norris lake via boat rental and just relaxing in the rental itself. It was perfect. We really loved and appreciated the water access which notably saved family vacation. Note: the path to the slip and water access is very steep and was challenging to my dad (72 yo) so keep that in mind. The amenities at the house are well worth the trip and the fact that the property is dog friendly is icing on the cake! It’s a bit off the beaten trail as the closest shopping center is 30 minutes away but if you plan ahead it’s the best spent week away from distractions. 10/10 loved this property.
