The Space:

Woodlands Hideaway at Reibey Estate by Tiny Away sits above the stables and lower paddocks of Reibey Estate, with the Colo River framing the view straight ahead. It's an outlook that stops you mid-coffee and keeps you there longer than planned. In the rural suburb of Lower Portland, just 1 hour 15 minutes from Sydney, the cottage puts the countryside within easy reach.



Paddocks, bushland, animals going about their day, and a fire pit ready for the evening. Day trips to Hawkins Lookout, Colo River Rock, and Fagan Park are all short by for those who want to push further into the region. Hawkesbury Lookout is another worth the short drive.



The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom with a gas-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.

Guest Access:

Woodlands Hideaway at Reibey Estate and its immediate surroundings are yours to enjoy fully. The main homestead is a private residence, so the tiny house and its outdoor spaces are your own dedicated retreat for the stay.



The Neighborhood:

Sitting at the junction of the Colo and Hawkesbury rivers, this corner of NSW is farming properties, bushland, and river country through and through. The historic Lower Portland Ferry, one of only four still crossing the Hawkesbury, is exactly the kind of local detail that tells you you've landed somewhere worth slowing down in.



Woodlands Hideaway at Reibey Estate is 1 hour and 15 minutes from Sydney, though the region gives you plenty of reasons to stay put. Hawkins Lookout and Hawkesbury Lookout both deliver wide views across the valley. Colo River Rock is a short hike away and one of those spots that tends to stick with people. Fagan Park is worth an afternoon if you want something a little more laid back.



Paradise Cafe & Pizzeria takes care of food and drinks when you need them. Head to Windsor Shopping Center before you arrive to stock up on groceries and anything else for the stay.



Getting Around:

By Car:



- A car is strongly recommended for this stay

- Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Sydney CBD via the M7 and Richmond Road

- Windsor Shopping Centre is about 30 minutes away for groceries and supplies

- The free Lower Portland Ferry crosses the Hawkesbury River 24/7 and is a short drive from the property



By Public Transport:



- Public transport to Lower Portland is very limited

- Windsor Station is the closest train stop, around 30 minutes away, serviced by Sydney Trains from Central Station

- From Windsor, a taxi or rideshare to the property is the most practical option



By Flight:



- Sydney Airport (SYD) is the nearest major airport, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car

- Newcastle Airport (NTL) is an alternative for domestic travellers, roughly 2 hours away

- Car hire upon arrival is recommended

- No pets are allowed

- No smoking is allowed
