Welcome to Deja Vu your own private resort-style coastal retreat, near Scarborough, overlooking the Indian ocean with only 3 minutes walking distance to Trigg & internationally known surf beaches. Designed for unforgettable holidays, the home combines luxury accommodation with resort-inspired amenities including a solar heated pool, gas heated spa, sauna, gym, cinema and multiple entertaining areas—all just a short stroll from the iconic Trigg Beach.

Arranged across five thoughtfully connected levels, Déjà Vu offers the perfect balance of shared living spaces and private retreats. Almost every room enjoys a view of the Indian Ocean, pool, gardens or surrounding coastline—only two wet areas miss out.

The private third-floor master suite features a king bed, ensuite and elevated ocean views. The second floor offers a queen bedroom overlooking the pool, bathroom, lounge with fireplace, kitchenette and balcony. The first floor includes another queen bedroom and one king-single bed, with a second single, together with a bathroom and separate toilet.

At the heart of the home is a spacious kitchen, dining area and several comfortable living zones. Large glass doors open these areas to the pool deck and outdoor entertaining spaces, allowing everyone to come together without feeling crowded.

The glass-roofed cinema provides a memorable setting for family movie nights. The private gym, sauna and heated spa provide opportunities to exercise, unwind and recharge throughout your stay. Multiple balconies, decks and sitting areas offer peaceful places to enjoy a morning coffee, read a book or watch the changing colours of the sky.

Déjà Vu was designed to embrace Perth’s relaxed coastal lifestyle. Its prized northerly aspect fills the house with exceptional natural light throughout the year, bringing warm sunshine into the living spaces during winter and allowing cooling coastal breezes to flow through the home in summer.

Open the wide glass doors and the kitchen, dining room, lounges, pool deck and outdoor entertaining areas become one expansive indoor-outdoor living space. It is ideal for relaxed breakfasts, family meals, long lunches beside the pool and sunset drinks overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The solar heated swimming pool is at the centre of the outdoor lifestyle, complemented by a gas heated spa, sauna, gym, sun decks and comfortable sitting areas. Whether you prefer an early swim, a relaxing sauna, a workout, a movie or simply unwinding by the water, the home offers something for every season and every member of the family.

One of the home’s most distinctive features is the spectacular glass roof above the cinema room and once all the bi folds are open the indoors becomes the outdoors. In winter, you can sit comfortably inside and watch the rain fall overhead. During summer, the glass creates an open vista towards the pool, blue sky and stars.

Although the house feels private and peaceful, the best of Perth’s Sunset Coast is close by. Trigg Beach—famous for surfing, swimming and its relaxed coastal atmosphere—is only a short stroll away. Clarko Reserve, Trigg Surf Life Saving Club and the coastal walking and cycling paths are also nearby.

Follow the coastline towards North Beach, Watermans Bay, Scarborough or Hillarys, discovering local beaches, cafés, restaurants and parks along the way. North Beach Shopping Centre is approximately 1.5 kilometres away, while Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Scarborough Beach and Hillarys Boat Harbour are all within easy driving distance.

Déjà Vu is not simply a holiday house—it is our much-loved family home. We have lived here for more than 31 years, and this is where our children grew up enjoying the beaches, parks and wonderful outdoor lifestyle of Trigg and the surrounding coastline.

In 2008, we extensively rebuilt the home, retaining only the original concrete floor levels and selected walls. The new design was created around the way our family lives: bringing people together while providing enough space for everyone to relax in their own way.

We love how the house changes with the seasons. In winter, the northerly sunlight warms the interiors, the fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere and the glass roof allows us to watch the rain from inside. In summer, the doors open wide, coastal breezes move through the house and the living areas connect naturally with the pool, decks and outdoor spaces.

We also love that the home offers a different outlook from almost every room. Ocean views, reflections across the pool, changing skies and an abundance of natural light give each level its own character and atmosphere.

The surrounding coastal environment, ever-changing ocean views and natural light are a constant source of inspiration for our passion for painting, creativity and wellbeing. This connection with nature is reflected throughout the home, creating a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere for our guests to enjoy.
