Lakefront Cottage on Wiggins Lake - Monthly Rentals Available

A cozy cottage with a fantastic waterfront view of Wiggins Lake. You'll be able to take it all in while you're swimming in the lake or enjoying a great view and some shade on the front deck. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

The cottage is well maintained, clean, and has all the basic necessities to enjoy your stay on the lake. Please note we have a *no pets* policy as Kathryn is allergic and we also want to protect other guests that are sensitive to pet hair & dander. We purchased this cottage in Aug 2020 and bought new bedding, towels, pillows, glasses, silverware, kitchenware, and more. We refresh them as needed and strive for you to have an amazing time on the lake!

Renovations in May 2022: A full remodel of the bedroom and some improvements in the living room. We got a comfy new Queen bed/frame from Denver Mattress (Doctors Choice Elite Euro Plush - since people have asked us!), floating nightstands, ceiling fan, black out curtains, and more. Power on each side of the bed and USB plug in each lamp.

Renovations in May 2021: Full remodel of the bathroom and front room. Included new lights, vanity, sink, mirror, chairs, couch, custom wall planks, several painted walls/ceiling, and a ceiling fan. We also installed new wood floors throughout the cottage too.

For liability & insurance reasons we ask that you stay off the pontoon boat and our neighbor's property/docks. We've got amazing neighbors, but they don't want the liability of unknown guests on their property. Thanks for your understanding! :)

Wonderful Place, Wonderful time!

The property was just as described - cute, complete and comfortable! Tavis and Katheryn were wonderful hosts. I plan to rent again next year!

Anniversary weekend

My husband and I just had a wonderful and relaxing time. The cabin was so cute and clean! The view of the lake was beautiful and there’s a lot of things you can do in the area. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate 30 years of marriage!

Lake-front relaxation

The home was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, and watching loons on the lake was a great bonus. We also enjoyed renting the pontoon boat. This was a wonderful and quiet place to relax.

Wonderful Stay on the Lake

Our stay couldn’t have been better! The hosts were very kind and responsive with any questions we had. The house was cozy, clean, and perfect for our early summer trip. The views of the lake were beautiful and peaceful, morning and night. We hope to be returning soon!

Nice little lake getaway

The cottage was lovely for a quick little getaway for my mom and I. The view was beautiful and it was so peaceful - especially in the mornings. All the essentials were available and the owners were very responsive to all of of our questions.

Wonderful Getaway from the City Life

Our stay was wonderful! The location was great and just perfect for my wife and I. What we loved most was the cleanliness of the place and the back deck leading to the lake. It was very quaint and private and you can see all of the stars during those non rainy nights we were there. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back in the future for sure! Thank you Tavis for helping us grow more memories together!

Amazing!

Our family had a great time at the cottage. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Very cozy! The deck view and the backyard were great for relaxing, cooking out and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the firepit. Tavis and Kathryn's place is amazing, and we will definitely be back. The communication with them was fantastic too! This is a great place to stay on a fun lake.

Perfect Getaway

We are repeat renters, and planning on next year also. Everything you need is there Views of the lake are wonderful, very quiet area, the lake is great for fishing. Tavis and Kathryn are very accomadating and easy to work with. We didn't need to bring anything but clothes and food. We highly recommend!

This little cottage was jussst right!

This little cottage was exactly what my sister and I were looking for. It has all the accommodation we were looking for, a cute kitchen, a couple of rooms with beds and a fresh, clean bathroom. It’s a cozy place with serene views. Location was just out of town enough that the the fall colors drive was breath taking! Hosts Tavis and Kathryn were attentive and supplied many small and large conveniences Like a few coffee pods and toiletries and firewood. Making this stay.........JUST RIGHT.

Perfect 5 night getaway.

Wonderful clean cottage with all the amenities you’ll need for a great stay. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed the beautiful lake. We floated around on air mattresses from the dock. There were a few weeds further out but a sandy bottom at the sea wall. The water was warm and perfect for swimming. Communication with the owners was easy. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks Tavis and Kathryn. Your place is a little piece of heaven.

Perfect Stay

Our stay over the holidays was absolutely perfect. Communication with Tavis & Kathryn was beyond superb - they answered questions within a minute or so via text, but made it perfectly clear that we could call them if preferred. The house was a perfect little place with a fully stocked kitchen, and cozy touches throughout. You can really tell that they want their visitors to feel completely at home. The view of the lake is absolutely striking. Of most importance to us is cleanliness, and it's so clean, you could eat off the floors! Spotless! We'd be honored to stay again. Thank you T & K!!! We had a great time!!

Relaxing cozy cottage

This was a very clean cozy cottage. Lakefront views were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and watching fish jump out of the water! Tavis was always quick to respond when we had a question. Great owners!

My friend Josh invited our family up to his house on Wiggins Lake in 2019. We really enjoyed the lake and the people. When his neighbor's cottage went up for sale in 2020, we jumped on the deal. So now we've got a cozy cottage on the lake to enjoy and share with the VRBO community.

We've enjoyed having guests at our cottage over the last 5 years and we've proud to have received all 5-star reviews so far! We will always try to communicate quickly/clearly and do what we can to make your stay enjoyable.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The lake is wonderful and the front deck has a fantastic view with 40ft of frontage of Wiggins Lake. Lots of mature trees in the yard provide you with plenty of shade on a hot summer day. Each year we're remodeling parts of the property and turning it into our "coastal cottage"! It should have everything you need to have a great time at the lake. :)

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

- Swimming/fishing right off the dock!
- Good size deck overlooking the lake. Has chaise lounge chairs and dining table & chairs
- Mature trees provide excellent shade on deck/yard by lake.
- New owners in Aug 2020. We purchased new bedding, towels, kitchen stuff, and more!
- You are welcome to bring your own boat and keep it on the other side of our dock. However, we do ask that you cover the $20/day that we normally get from people renting the slip. (Fill up your boat in advance because there is no marina on the lake.)
