We just returned from a two-night stay. We enjoyed staying in such a clean, comfortable cottage with all of the amenities needed to have a relaxing time.The deck, firepit, sandy beach with lounge chairs, and beautiful weather helped to make our stay perfect.

The rental was everything it was stated to be. The house was absolutely beautiful and the owners were outstanding with their communication through the whole process. My wife, myself, and my two dogs stayed for the weekend, and the neighbors were very friendly as well. The use of the kayaks and rowboat were just an added bonus as we got the chance to add some fishing into our trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking. Even got to see a bald eagle flying around, grabbing breakfast, and taking a stroll on the sandbar.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. There was more than enough room for all of us to relax. We did a lot of fishing from the dock and the canoe. The water was so clean, the beach was sandy. The kids loved the water slide and platform to dive from. We would definitely come back again.

We stayed for 5 days with 7 people and a medium size dog. The house was really spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The home was very well stocked with towels, extra blankets, kitchen supplies, books. The back yard had plenty of room for my dog to run around. The water was clean and clear with a sandy beach, sandy bottom and gradually deepened, perfect for kids of all ages. The neighbors were polite and quiet. We all had a great time fishing and swimming, really enjoyed the fire pit and the tanning chairs on the beach. I was particularly impressed with the email I received from the host a few days before the trip, he explained everything and gave a lot of really good recommendations on where to get the best food and what fun things there are to do around town, we appreciated that, it was very helpful. My family had a great time here and we would definitely like to return.

We had four adults and our little dog stay here for 7 nights and we all loved it - especially the large windows in the kitchen that offers the most beautiful lake view! The kitchen table was large enough for us to host some memorable dinners with family who lives on Pratt Lake. The lakefront property is extremely spacious and the chaise lounge chairs outside were so comfortable for sunbathing and relaxing. Another family favorite was the generosity of the neighbors who were kind enough to let us borrow kayaks and use their slide! We got fortunate with weather and luckily didn’t struggle with being too hot at night since there isn’t A/C. And lastly, having a washer and dryer was a game changer!

Great location, quiet and relaxing. Cottage has no AC, but the deck and a breeze were wonderful.

Thanks for your review and for staying with us! We're really glad you enjoyed the lake and the great breeze out on the deck — it's one of our favorite things about the place too. We hear you on the AC. While the home doesn’t have central air, we do have ceiling fans in every room plus window fans to help keep things cool. Most guests find that the lake breeze and fans do the trick, especially in the evenings when weather cools off. Appreciate your feedback and hope you had a relaxing stay overall.

Great place to stay

We have been regulars here for good reason. Great place to enjoy family and entertain the kids without even leaving the property. House has everything you would need and easy check in/check out. Love this place.

Fantastic vacation!

I have rented this place before. One of the best cottages I’ve been in. My granddaughters loved the beach area and the lake itself. Will definitely be back again.

The best

Love the house, the location, the lake. House is very well kept. Love that there is both beach for the baby and deeper swimming for my two older kids without ever leaving the property. Lots of sandy bottom areas, good fishing-the complete package : ) we are already thinking about when we can come back.

Weekend with the grandkids.

We had a wonderful weekend. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. We spent most of our time sitting outside and enjoying the lake view. Our grandkids had a ball fishing, swimming and paying in the sand. It was the perfect end of the season get away.

Lake front cabin

Absolutely loved this property. My family of 6 had an amazing time! The cabin had everything and more. The lake was beautiful and my children ranging from ages 6-17 had an absolute blast. Locally had some of the best ice cream and pizza we have ever had. I give our stay 10/10. We will definitely be making a return visit!

Best vacation for the family

Absolutely love the updates done to the place since the last time we were there 10 years ago. Family loved the waterfront and appreciated the use of the floating dock. The neighbors were all very kind. The lake was fairly busy so we paddled in the beautiful mornings and watched the birds and jumping fish. Highly recommend

All you could ask for

The cottage had more room than I thought it would by the pictures I saw. Very nice and roomy kitchen. Enough space inside to spread out. Great beach area for my granddaughters. Very family oriented. I’m definitely keeping this on my list for return vacations.

This house worked great for our family. The beach was great for our grandson and the dock worked good for our boat. It was quite warm when we stayed there, we knew it would be so we brought some fans because we knew the house did not have air conditioning. There were a couple of fans there when we got there and the day after we got there Thomas had 4 more fans delivered to help keep us cool. Great cottage and lake!

The lake was awesome, its the perfect size too! There is a fun sand bar right out front of the house. Kayak out there and hang for the day. I love that it was dog friendly! Plently of wood for bonfires. It had everything we needed. The cottage was cute, cozy, and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Tom was a great host! Easy to communicate with, super easy check in as well. It was the perfect long weekend get away! What a great location. I cant wait to come back! Thanks!!! ☺️☺️

Fun!

Super close to the water. Cute lake. Saw amazing northern lights and a meteor shower. The lake was are-able and my kid had a blast in the sand and beach water, but my kids (typically pool lovers) were not super willing to swim in the darker water. Still serene and pretty on the quiet lake. We did not have life jackets so did not do any boating. BYO lifejackets! House is charming, Had all we needed including ample towels. Cozy but spacious and bed were all very comfy! formcomfy!

Home away from home

We couldn’t love this cabin anymore. It’s an annual event with my daughters now. The cabin has everything you need except for food. The neighbors were very friendly. My daughter brought her Xbox in case she got bored.. she never took it out of the bag. :) we spent many hours sitting on the dock. We brought a 10x10 pop up canopy for the deck, so we could still sit outside in the rain. We will be back next year again. This is truly our home away from home. On a side note... you must go to the Corner Creamery for ice cream at least once (we went every night).
