Surrounded by native bush and birdsong, this is the ultimate getaway.

Experience some of the best sunsets the sounds has to offer and panoramic views from every room in the house. Plenty of space for the kids to run, a pool to cool off, beautiful native bush encompassing the entire property, you will never want to leave.

With its private golden sand beach, fully kitted boat shed and loft entertaining area, seaside living doesn’t get much better. Spend your days fishing, diving, sailing or wherever water sports you fancy.

We can greet you on arrival to assist with unloading. We have a motorbike and trailer that can escort your luggage up to the house. We will run through additional details before we leave you to it.

Please note - the property is located up a step concrete that can be challenging elderly or disabled people. The sleep out that contains two of the rooms (1 x double room + 1 bunk room) is located up external stairs behind the house. Guests need to take care, especially in the wet and all children should be made aware.

Blackwood Bay is accessed by boat only, being 15-20 minutes from Waikawa Marina or 25-30 minutes from Picton. Our property is located on the south eastern point as you enter the bay and enjoys fantastic sunsets and all day sun.

Ideally, guests will have a boat so to make the most of what the sounds has to offer. We can offer transfers to and from our place as well as other destinations upon request.

We can supply linen at a cost of $35 per person - this will include bed linen and a towel per person. Guests should bring beach towels.
