The location is strategic to both Sounds but also within easy reach of the vineyards of Marlborough for a Cellar Door tasting or lunch. Proximity to Picton also makes it possible for a day trip to the Capital via the Tory Channel. The local town of Blenheim has all the usual retail outlets and even a theatre.

Havelock is the nearest small town is noted as 'The Green Lipped Mussel capital of the World' It has numerous coffee shops and cafes plus a large modern marina where you can launch your boat at any stage of the tide, why not take a trip on the Pelorus Sound mailboat? The house is also well situated for a visit by boat to the several lodges sited by the waters edge of both Sounds....some only accessible by water.

There are two houses on the property, one occupied by the owner who lives most of the summer at the property in the event you should need assistance. The cottage is situated on half an acre so there is a lot of space for everyone and your privacy will be respected at all times.
