This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment is comfortable and well appointed with mountain and ocean views right outside your window. It is conveniently located in an exclusive Eagle River neighborhood, close to shopping and access to the Glenn Highway, as a home base for your Alaska travels. You'll find a quaint pond across the street, with the Eagle River Nature Center just a short drive down the road.

The apartment includes a private deck for grilling and chilling, a fully stocked kitchen, full size laundry, and extra room for parking. You will also love having access to DirecTV channels, so you don't miss your favorite shows! The kitchen includes a Keurig coffee maker and coffee/tea bar, a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, blender and full size appliances. Be sure to hit the snack bar and hydration station when you walk through the door!

Guests will enjoy a contactless check-in process with hosts sending your personal door code in advance of your stay, along with local recommendations for shopping and attractions.

The apartment includes outdoor security monitoring for the safety of guests at door and parking areas. We strictly adhere to VRBO policies to ensure privacy and security of hosts and guests. This unit relies on a well for water service.

Very Clean and Cozy

We enjoyed out time in Eagle River. It was perfect for our short stay. Not too far from the airport and a lot of great places to hike and eat!

Reminded why I came back

This was my second stay here, and I’m glad I booked this place again. The location is great, the neighborhood is quiet, and the amenities are plentiful. The unit boasts ample privacy, comfort, and functionality. The unit itself has everything you need and more, whether your stay is short or extended. The well-equipped kitchen, grill, and washer/dryer make the unit feel like home away from home, and the snacks and tea/coffee provided are a great personal touch. I spent a lot of time sitting by the cozy fireplace warming back up after long hikes. Definitely plan to make a third visit here somewhere down the line.

Well appointed apartment

The unit was basically a two bedroom appointment. The apartment was well-appointed and nicely decorated. The view was great. The only criticism of the stay - the owner lives upstairs and I believe they have hardwood or laminate floors. In the evening I could hear every step they took. It didn't go on very late; it didn't impede on my sleep. If I stayed in a hotel, I could have had the very same experience. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Beautiful view

My wife and I had a great stay at this house. The views from the deck and windows in the house were beautiful. The house was clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The location was great for all activities in Anchorage and surrounding areas. We would stay here again when in the Anchorage area.

Perfect home away from home

We knew our stay would be awesome as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The home was spotless clean and stocked with all kinds of enhancements, like shampoo, body wash, Kleenex and snacks. They were much appreciated. The kitchen was well outfitted so I was able to prepare some excellent meals during our stay. Only 2 drawbacks: 1- the pipes that run through the walk-in closet drip condensation and got my suitcase wet (may I suggest covering with pipe insulation) and 2- the guests upstairs walked around like a herd of caribou. We could tell they had their shoes on. This isn’t the fault of host but I thought it was worth mentioning. Those things aside, I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, comfortable home

We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door! The apartment was beautiful, cozy and better than we imagined! Knowing we had such a lovely place to return to at the end of the day just rounded out our amazing time in Alaska! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Fabulous ... Location and Accommodations

Perfect place to stay. Just outside of Anchorage so it made it easy to explore the area and still be able to stop in when we wanted a relaxing break. View out the back was breathtaking. Weather cleared up and I am pretty sure we could see the Denali mountain range. Close to a Walmart so we bought groceries for breakfast and dinner. Accommodations were excellent. Enjoyed the "treats" left in the jar ... especially the Rice Krispie treats. Nice touch! If we ever get back to Anchorage we know where we will be staying ... HERE! Property manager was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. Information packet was very helpful.

First Alaska Visit

Enjoyed our stay here! Served as a central location to our travels to the South as far as Seward, North to Talkeetna, and East to Palmer, with close proximity to the Anchorage area. Well appointed, furnished, and very clean. Excellent host with great communication and response time. We would be glad to stay here again!

Amazing stay in Eagle River

Really enjoyed staying in this lovely, well appointed home. This home is well stocked for that "darn I forgot..." moment. Comfy blankets to cozy up by the fireplace and watch TV or just relax. Bed linens soft and comfortable and towels thick and soft. Keurig coffee is nice and hot. I would stay again if in the area. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Perfect Stay

Perfect location!

Just outside Anchorage makes this the perfect location. The view is beautiful, and having snacks on the counter and amenities in the bathroom makes this place so welcoming. Super clean and great beds. 10 out of 10!!

Relaxing stay in Eagle River

The Broadwater Apt was the perfect spot for rest and relaxation after our long drive from Maryland! It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed, with beautiful views of Cook Inlet, and wildlife in the yard. We really didn’t need to leave the apartment to get the true Alaska experience! The apt was stocked with all kitchen and bath supplies we might need, and Cynthia and her husband were readily available to answer any questions. We look forward to visiting again.

Exceptional “home” base!

We enjoyed a wonderful three night stay in Eagle River at Cynthia’s place. It is well appointed, so clean and her hospitality is second to none. This location was ideal for people wanting to travel further north for excursions up toward Wasilla OR south to Whittier and everywhere in between. Great little gem close enough to Anchorage and perfectly away from Anchorage. We will be back!

Alaska Adventures

We had a great stay at Cynthia place. Met our needs perfectly! The bedrooms our large with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a nice size, laundry available. Fully furnished with comfortable furniture in the living room, a nice sized kitchen with coffee and a coffee maker and a nice snack jar for guests. Located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood with parking. Very clean and easy to find everything. A very relaxing stay that met all of our needs, would definitely stay here again. Cynthia excellent hosts! Side notes: The views are not from the bottom apartment. Some views but limited from bottom apartment. You cannot control the main heat, but Cynthia has 2 portable heaters for your use. We had lots of snow which was awesome but reminder that you will need to shovel sidewalk and maybe driveway if the plow service is behind schedule.

A Great Getaway

The property had everything you'd want or need for a comfortable extended stay. I traveled pretty light for a long trip and pretty much had everything I needed while I was there. The location is isolated enough to have a quiet, peaceful stay while still being accessible to shopping and other major roads. If you enjoy hiking/exploring, there are a couple of nice trailheads in Chugach State Forest that are just a few minutes away from the property with some incredible views from the summit. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative before and during my stay. Would definitely look to stay here again if/when I make a return trip.

Wonderful location

My friend and I had a wonderful stay. Everything is clean and really nice. We saw a mama Moose and her calf eating in the front yard 3 houses down from us. It was awesome! We would definitely come back to stay.
