Jody's Place - High Country Escape

Welcome to Jody’s Place, a peaceful country cottage designed for relaxed getaways and quiet High Country escapes. Surrounded by rural scenery and fresh country air, it offers a comfortable and inviting base for couples, friends or small families looking to slow down and unwind.



The Space



Two Comfortable Bedrooms

The cottage offers two welcoming bedrooms. One features a queen-size bed, while the second includes a double bed. A comfortable and restful space to return to after a day exploring the region.



Open Plan Living

The open-plan living area is light-filled and inviting, with large windows framing tranquil rural views. A split system provides both heating and cooling, ensuring year-round comfort while you relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.



Country Style Kitchen

The kitchen blends rustic charm with everyday practicality. It is equipped with cookware, utensils and cooking basics provided, making it easy to prepare slow breakfasts or relaxed meals at home. Please note there is no dishwasher, so guests are kindly asked to wash and put away dishes after use.



Bathroom

The bathroom includes a separate shower and toilet with a small supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash for added convenience.



Fully Equipped Laundry

A separate laundry includes a washing machine, dryer, separate toilet and essential cleaning items, making longer stays simple and comfortable.



Expansive Deck

Step outside onto the large deck and take in the peaceful surrounds. It’s the perfect place for your morning coffee, outdoor dining or simply soaking in the rural outlook.



Generous Outdoor Space

A wide-open yard surrounds the cottage, offering plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.



Double Carport

Covered parking for two vehicles is available under the double carport, keeping your car protected during your stay.



Horse Paddock Available (By Approval)

For guests travelling with horses, a paddock may be available for use by prior approval only. Please contact us before booking if you would like to discuss this option.



Important Information



Separate Dwelling on the Property

There is a separate dwelling located on the property that is occupied by a permanent resident. Guests have their own private space within the cottage and yard area, however we kindly ask that all guests are respectful and considerate during their stay.



External Security Cameras

For safety and property protection, external security cameras are installed outside the home. These monitor outdoor areas only and do not face any interior spaces.



House Rules



To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, we kindly ask that the following house rules are respected:



• No parties or events

• No smoking inside the home

• Please respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly after 10pm

• The wood fireplace is not available for guest use

• Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property

• Please leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure
