We spent a rainy MDW 2026 here and can’t wait to stay here again, very clean, has everything, and so close to LBI.The host was very quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. Great location and so much room. Perfect, when needing space for the kids to hangout and a separate space for the adults to relax. Beautiful view, right on the bay.

Fantastic Home

Absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Bay! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views were incredible, the location was perfect, and the atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay!

I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is likely my FAVORITE ever!The house was BEAUTIFUL, VERY clean and stocked with towels, linens, bath items, tissues, toilet paper. Everything and anything really - including some food items such as seasonings, oil, salsa, cookies. Everything just made us feel so welcome and at home. There were also flowers, a note from the renting agency/property contact with candy. I just can't say enough. A short drive over the bridge into LBI proper but I honestly liked our location better than being on the island itself. It was less crowded, no home on top of home - more of a residential and family feel.The views were FANTASTIC. And it was SO LOVELY to watch and listen to the birds all day and the waves.A VERY FANTASTIC experience.

Sea-renity Now!

This house sits on the shore line of Manahwakin Bay in an area known as Beach Haven West. It’s located west of Long Beach Island (LBI) and is only minutes away across the bay bridge. You’re on vacation, so do as much as you want or as little! Some of us wanted to soak in the sites on LBI including Barnegat Lighthouse, Ship Bottom, Surf City, Viking Village, and numerous other attractions and restaurants. But for me it was all about staying put and enjoying the moment. Check-in was a breeze and our host was in constant contact in case we needed anything. This home is nicely appointed with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and huge living room spaces! I did most of the cooking so I really valued the kitchen space most of all and made good use of the outdoor grill throughout our stay. Prepping breakfast in the morning while having the bay in view was a joy! Coffee breaks out on the 2nd floor balcony was a treat! We took advantage of the in-ground pool and kayaks, and when our days came to a close from all our activities it was a race to see who would be the first to make use of the deep soaking tub in the master suite! Night time activities included board games, streaming TV, retro video gaming on the 2nd floor (guilty as charged), reading, conversations, etc. and with enough space for everyone to enjoy! This was a memorable trip, indeed! The worst part about it was knowing it would soon come to a close, but the “glass half-full” perspective was if I were to visit again in the future, I’d make this place a priority for that next trip back!

Excellent vacation home

We had an amazing stay here! The place is spotless, and there’s plenty of toiletries and kitchen essentials. The sunrise and sunset views are especially hauntingly beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
