We couldn't have been happier with this stay. The house was fantastic, well appointed and inviting. Kim and Jim were welcoming and responsive to questions. The property was very well suited to our little family gathering pre and post wedding. I highly recommend this home.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay here! The house was so nice and perfectly set up for an extended family trip. The kids loved splashing on thr Beach and we enjoyed renting the pontoon for the week as well. We'd definitely stay here again!

Another Great Stay

This was our second time staying here, and this time was just as great as the last one! Jim and Kim are so hospitable, and let our girls play with their dogs, which they LOVED! The house was clean and everything was as advertised! Overall a great stay and look forward to another stay here in the future!

Beautiful place

Beautiful place on the lake. The hosts took care to make sure we had everything we needed. They house has been redone and is beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit by the lake and the gazebo. Great fishing and swimming off the dock. We enjoyed our stay.

Taste of lake living

We rented this lake home as a family Christmas gift and boy was it everything we hoped it to be! The accommodations were perfect, so clean and nicely decorated and plenty of room for everyone. The hosts thought of everything from kitchen utensils, s’mores supplies, firewood, bath & beach towels and even provided a wagon to bring our stuff down to the beach. Would highly recommend this rental on a beautiful lake!

Awesome Lake House

We had a fantastic week on Murray Lake. Our hosts, Kim and Jim, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the lake was accessible to our family. The house was well furnished and had everything necessary, including supplies for s’mores, lots of beach towels and a wagon to help us take things to and from the house and lake. We can not thank them enough for an awesome vacation.

Great family vacation!

Stayed here for a week, and really enjoyed the house and lake. The house Itself is spotless and has everything you need. My kids loved the basement, and bunk beds. The lake is beautiful and so clean for swimming and water sports. We rented the pontoon boat for the week, which was fun. S’mores by the lake every evening was a big hit with the kids. We had a truly wonderful weeks vacation and hope to return next year. Jim and Kim could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend this lake house.

Perfect

I can’t say anything bad about our stay and the most adorable home. Kim and Jim were so friendly and accommodating…just loved them, very responsive. The lake was clean and stayed at a comfortable temperature for swimming. The place us full of charm, and property is stunning. Neighbors friendly, but not invasive. Everything, including the countryside was perfect for 3 generations under one roof. So sad to go!

Everything was wonderful, besides the fishing. Caught lots of small panfish from Dock, but nothing off boat. Other than that, everything else was great.

Stunning sunrises

Best hosts you can imagine, beautiful spacious and clean property, amazing view. I loved getting up early (6:30) and see the stunning sunrise! On the lake, great for entertainment and fun. If there is something you miss in this property, I’m quite sure Kim or Jim will find a way to get what you need. They go above and beyond. I’ll go back with my kids next year, this time I went with other adults as we all were part of a workshop in Ada.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed here for a week and it was a great time! Both Jim and Kim were very accommodating and wanted to ensure our stay was great! They had a nice little beach area where the two 5 year-olds could play; and it had a great gazebo area to sit right by them. The house was well maintained and had plenty of room for the 5 adults and 2 kids that we had staying there! The only issue we had was the weather, but that's out of anyone's control, and with that, there was enough space in the house to allow us all to be together and do something in there while it rained! The lake was nice and they had a pontoon available that we could rent as well; which was a great option and we took advantage of that as much as we could! Again, it was a great stay and can't say enough about the hospitality offered by the owners! Would definitely stay again!!

There were four adults and four kids in our group that stayed for the week; this was exactly what we needed. Check in was incredibly easy and the communication from Kim and Jim was amazing. The beach area was great for the kids and the covered gazebo was helpful as is was very hot the week we stayed. Golf cart was a huge help taking things down to the beach as well.There was a nice floating raft and a paddleboard for the kids to take out. The house itself had all you need for a 8-10 people. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals for a larger group, plenty of bed space for everyone and two living/family rooms for relaxing. My family has vacationed at Murray lake for the last three years and this was definitely our favorite place!Also want to say thanks to Tony & Brodie at Living Water Adventures in Grand Rapids for the Jet Ski Rental.

Could not have better hosts than Kim and Jim. Our second time staying here and it won't be our last. The house was clean and well stocked. Most of our day was spent on the beach and in the sand bottom lake. Great place for the grandkids and adults. You won't be disappointed staying here.

This house has everything you need. From kitchen utensils to life jackets for the lake it has it all. Jim was very good a checking on us and made sure we had what we needed for a good stay. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful time was had. We look forward to going back in the future.

5 Stars! - We took our annual beginning of summer family trip with the kids and grandparents and were so happy with the house and property. The house is well maintained and very clean. The upper level has a large back deck which is perfect for morning coffee, a family dinner or watching the kids play at the beach. The house is stocked with blankets for cooler nights and beach towels for swimming. We had great weather during our visit and spent lots of time by the lake fishing and swimming. Our kids had a great time catching fish and exploring on the paddleboard. This is an active lake so it was not uncommon to see jet skis, motor boats or fishing boats in the area. Between the beach with a private dock, a shaded gazebo and the fire pit (and s'mores) this property had us staying outside most of our visit. The hosts were amazing and very welcoming. They offered some great suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area and went above and beyond to make this visit perfect for our group. Thank you Kim and Jim for a wonderful time!

Lovely house, very clean, fully equiped kitchen. Beautiful view and access down to the water. Hosts were great, very friendly and helpful. We were in town for a family wedding - plenty of room for all family members to stay, plus great separate spaces upstairs and down for big bridal party girls and guys to dress, etc. , and lovely backdrops for those 'getting ready' pictures.
