The property is freshly painted & was clean for cooking &sleeping. The windows should be washed & there are holes in some of the screens & a few are missing. There is adequate dishes and glasses but the 3 cooking pans are small. You may want to bring a stock pot & large strainer if you plan to cook for a family. The washer works fine but the dryer is VERY loud. I think there is a belt ready to snap on the dryer?? The sofa is very low to sit on & has very light stuffing. It's hard to get up from & you can feel the frame on your back.The side chair is ok. It could use an upholstery cleaning. I brought in two patio chairs from the backyard for extra seating. Coming out of the bathroom, there is a level difference at the threshold. I almost tripped a few times. The front door threshold is loose and should be replaced. I have an SUV and it was too wide to easily park in carport. I got in when I arrived but had a heck of a time backing out. There is a huge oak tree and the base keeps the gate to the carport from opening completely. I parked on the gravel in front of the house. There is a Mama and her baby racoons that live in the tree. They are adorable. I didn't let my 15 pound dog roam around alone in the backyard because I wasn't sure the Mama would consider my dog a threat to her babies. Lakeport is an old town with old bldgs. I expected old so except for the improvements the property could use, it was OK. Property Mgr. was excellent communicating with.

We're glad to hear the property was freshly painted, clean for cooking and sleeping, and that communication was excellent throughout your stay. Thank you for the detailed feedback. I have replaced the missing pots, the cutting boards and other items I found were missing from the kitchen. Our cleaners will be more cognizant about taking better inventory after each check out. I also spoke to the cleaners about better communication, I had no idea about the inconvenience that noise from the dryer was causing guests. The dryer has since been replaced. The front door threshold was missing a screw and has now been tightened, and we'll be adding a bright color to the bathroom threshold to make the level difference easier to see. The window screens have been repaired and replaced, and windows are now scheduled to be washed every other month. We appreciate you taking the time to point these things out, as it helps us keep the home in great shape for everyone who stays there.
