This condo was everything it claimed to be… stunning! It seems to be newly renovated; everything is pristine and modern. The kitchen is stocked with high end cookware. Being on the 4th floor, immediately off the elevator, EASY access; never waited for longer than seconds on the elevator. Pool area is great. Grilling area - great. Beach access is so convenient. Add to this a new golf cart!!

Excellent view of beach

Brought friends from California. Their first time to see Gulf Coast. They fell in love with it and they will be back with their family again soon. Clean condo; convent to pool and beach.

Perfect stay!

We booked our spring break trip the week before leaving and I don't know how we possibly were able to snag this place! I have NO complaints! The place was beautiful, the views were amazing, the space was great, it was located right off the elevator for easy access, they provided chairs and an umbrella, and it was very clean! I would definitely stay here again and plan to go ahead and book for next year!

Great view, convenient location. The beds are poor quality and hard as plywood, pans need to be replaced as the non-stick coating was scratched to the point that they have been replaced a long time ago.

Perfect Location

We had a great time at this condo and beach over Spring Break. The unit has a fantastic view of the beach and pool. Centrally located to everything. The beach is private to the building, so not as crowded as some of the surrounding beach areas. We rented a couple chairs and an umbrella for the week from a kiosk on the beach. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Beach was beautiful fine sand. Everything was clean around the building and beach. Only thing was stains on bedroom carpet mentioned in several prior reviews, so we knew about that. We definitely plan to return.

I know you have no control over that but it would have been something that we could have been advised of prior to renting.

If we are made aware of any construction going on, we let our guests know, however each condo is a private residence, so they do not have to report any construction going on. The only time we can stop any construction is if it extends beyond daytime hours. We do hope to have you back again soon!

Perfect!

Wonderful experience! Secure location with two security check points, so no stragglers or panhandlers bothering you. Shuttle service provided for any errands needed without needing your own vehicle. Private beach access, so it’s not over crowded like most beaches in the area. Really clean facility with a large ice machine for convenience. Pool access is limited with gate codes, preventing small children from running off. The walkway to the beach bypasses the pool area which was a huge plus with smaller children. The pool can still be accessed coming from the beach but it’s not like some places where it’s the only way to go inside! Pool was always clean and monitored. Two gas grills were another bonus for outside gatherings! Our condo seemed recently updated and was very clean! Everything inside was updated including showers, toilets, furniture and appliances. Very glad we decided to stay here and will be back next year!

Great location

We loved the condo and the location. There were a few issues though. We called twice to have someone come spray for roaches and there was mold on the shower curtains. Also, the back patio door didn’t lock, light bulbs were out in one bathroom, the refrigerator door knocked when open and closed and the trash can pull out was difficult and the door to the trash can was falling off. We called maintenance for all listed issues above. Otherwise, the location and condo were great. Loved having a balcony that looked directly at the beach and over the pool.

Maintenance Issues

BS1 property is poorly maintained. Water was leaking from the ceiling and we had to put pans out to collect a couple of nights Sewage backed up through the bathroom sink drain. It was so bad we could not complete or stay there but had to move to a hotel.

Unfortunately the condo renovations in the unit above (causing a minor leak) and the drainage water back-up are events that were out of our control. Beachside One Condo Association has since assessed the issues and have fixed them. We strive to keep our properties well-maintained but at times events happen and we make our best effort to rectify the situation. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean, no bugs, and everything worked great. No problems with condo, no elevator waits, and plenty of parking. We had already decided we were going to come again this year and if beach crowded as prior year, we would make different future plans. The beach for our condo was perfect. The security guard did an excellent job removing non guest from the BS I beach. He also did it in a very professional manner. Again, he did an excellent job.The sharks were the only negative.

Destin Spring 2024 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would highly recommend this unit & property. We've been staying in Destin for over 30 years... And, 4045 Beachside One is absolutely one of the best places' The only disappointment was the bedding... I would suggest upgrading the mattress in both bedrooms.

Great vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I LOVED the view of the beach/ocean from this condo! Especially in the master bedroom! The kitchen was beautiful and there was lots of space. The pool and easy access to the beach was awesome!
