• Portable air-conditioning unit & Ceiling fan (loft bedroom)
• Portable fans provided (The downstairs area stays naturally cool thanks to the solid brick structure and surrounding tall trees. Portable fans are available in the house for your comfort on extremely hot days.)

• Charcoal BBQ grill (BYO heat beads – available at local supermarkets)

💧 Septic System
This property uses a septic system. Please:
• Flush only toilet paper (no wipes or sanitary items)
• Avoid pouring oil or food scraps down the sink
• Space out use of the dishwasher, washing machine, and showers when possible

🚿 Hot Water
Hot water is powered by an electric system.
If several showers are taken close together, water may briefly cool before reheating.

💡 Power Outages
Power interruptions can occasionally happen in Emerald due to weather or maintenance.
Torches are provided in the laundry area for your convenience.

👧 Children
Please supervise young children when they are upstairs, as the loft bedroom is accessed by an internal staircase. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we ask that children avoid rough play or jumping while upstairs.

📶 Wi-Fi
• Generally stable, but may be affected by weather due to Emerald’s mountain location.

🌿 Garden
• We try to maintain the garden in good condition, though weeds can grow quickly in summer and fallen leaves or flowers are common in autumn and spring.
• Occasional wildlife sightings, such as local birds, are part of the natural setting.

Indoor bins are provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.
If using outdoor bins, please note:
