The perfect spot for a getaway with extended family and friends, this luxurious 3900 square foot home backs up to a beautifully treed national forest with trails right out your back door. You'll have convenient access to all that Breck has to offer: just a 10 minute walk to the Village of Breckenridge--Maggie Pond & the Quick Silver ski lift, or the shuttle stop is just 2.5 blocks away on a paved trail. Large hot tub, fire pit, and tons of games/activities for kids of all ages.
This luxurious 3900 square-foot home with quality furniture and electronic upgrades, backs up to a beautifully treed national forest with trails to explore right out your back door. You have many convenient options to access all that Breckenridge has to offer. The slopes and Maggie Pond are 10-15 minute walk away, on a beautiful/ breathtaking path through the forest that pops out to the Quicksilver lift on Peak 9. You can also access many other hiking/snowshoeing trails, paddle boarding on Maggie Pond in the summer and firepits in the winter, and the Village at Breckenridge with all the shopping and wonderful restaurants that Breckenridge has to offer. The free shuttle stop is just 2.5 blocks away, offering another fast and convenient way to get to town and the mountain.
The main level offers soaring ceilings, with a floor-to-ceiling double-sided stone fireplace that separates the great room from the dining area. Relax in the cozy family room with a big screen smart HDTV. The dining area has a beautiful new dining set with seating for 12-14 with an additional 2 spots at the bar in the kitchen. There is a 1/2 bath on this level.
The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Discriminating chefs will be thrilled with the double ovens and separate microwave, the butcher-block island with plenty of workspace, the 6-burner professional grade gas stove with hood, and two sinks with garbage disposals. The kitchen is fully stocked and the large pantry is stocked with a few basic staples such as spices, pancake mix, pasta, and oatmeal.
Next to the kitchen, bask in the warmth of the stone-floor sunroom on the new comfy sofa and chairs while listening to music from your favorite ap on the Bose Sound touch system or play a game and enjoy a snack at the pub table ( not pictured) while enjoying beautiful views. More relaxation is available beyond the sunroom, where you will find the large hot tub as well as a spectacular private deck with barbecue grill surrounded by trees. In addition, there is another larger deck with table and chairs that can be accessed from the great room or the sun room that offers great views and quiet mountain relaxation.
Ascending the hewn wood staircase from the foyer, you will find the two master suites with televisions and a sleeping loft. The first master suite offers a king-sized log bed and a stone fireplace. The suites travertine marble bathroom has double sinks, a soaking tub, and a large steam shower with bench to sit and enjoy the steam bath.
The second master bedroom offers a king-sized log bed with a small loveseat, and a charming bathroom with a full-size bathtub. This bedroom also has a Pack n Play, for our littlest guests!
The loft area has a Queen Sleeper Sofa and a single futon chair, to sleep up to 3 people.
The lower level is the place for kids and young at heart to hang out. The large recreation room offers a Large 65" Smart TV with DVD player, Xbox 360 game system, a pool table, and a wet bar area. The seating for the TV in the recreation room is a great spot to sit down and watch the big game or a movie.
There are 2 bedrooms on the lower level; the first is a master suite with a king-sized bed and a lofted twin bed. This suite's bathroom has a full-sized bathtub.
The second bedroom offers a queen log bed and a log bunk bed, with a double mattress on the bottom bunk and a twin on the top bunk. A full bathroom on this level serves the fourth bedroom and the recreation room.
We provide one inflatable mattress/linens for additional sleeping options.
There is also a laundry room on the lower level with a full-size washer and dryer, laundry detergent, ironing board, and iron.
Other Amenities: This stunning house is equipped with wireless high speed Internet, Cable TV, Bose Sound touch system with portable speakers. We also provide on call maintenance and complimentary concierge service. Grand Mountain Lodge at the Preserve has in floor radiant heat, a heated 2-car garage and a car port for your convenience.
