Big Boulder at Killington â South Side is a newly built, private mountain home located just 2 miles from the Killington base lodges and less than a mile from the restaurants, bars, and shops on Killington Road. Perfect for family vacations and group getaways, this home offers stunning mountain views, a private hot tub, an indoor sauna, and multiple levels of spacious living. Guests staying here also receive exclusive discounts on ski and snowboard rentals from trusted local partners.
This property is one side of a side-by-side duplex. Guests staying on the South Side enjoy a private entrance, full interior privacy, and their own dedicated amenities including a hot tub, sauna, kitchen, and living areas.
The home sleeps up to 12 guests in three bedrooms plus a loft. The main floor features two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom with a pocket door separating the shower and toilet from the sink area. The upper level includes a large bedroom with two queen beds and two twin beds, plus an adjoining loft with two more twins. The loft's trundle bed can convert into a king or two twins. A second full bathroom on this level also has a pocket door separating the shower and toilet. All bedrooms feature plush carpeting and comfortable bedding, with no bunk beds in the home.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cherry cabinetry, a gas stove, large refrigerator with filtered water and ice through the door, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and enough cookware and utensils to prepare group meals. There is seating for 8 to 10 around the dining table, plus an additional four stools at the breakfast bar. The adjacent great room features vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows overlooking the mountains, a wood stove, and a large smart TV.
Downstairs, the finished walk-out basement includes a spacious recreation room with a large sectional sofa, foosball table, bar area with mini fridge, and a half bathroom. Guests also have access to a six-person indoor sauna, laundry area with two washers and two dryers, and space to store ski equipment and boots.
Outdoors, guests can relax in the private six-person hot tub on the oversized back deck or enjoy sunset views from the covered front porch with Adirondack chairs. The home offers parking for four to five vehicles, with four-wheel drive recommended during winter weather.
High-speed WiFi, multiple LED smart TVs, a Blu-ray player, video games, and board games are included. Heating is available throughout the home, including a wood stove. (firewood provided)
