The busses that go to the city are the 541, 541G, 541x, and N541. All these buses go to Tea Tree Plaza interchange/ shopping center first. This is Adelaide's second largest shopping center. They then drive on to the O-bahn guided busway which travels down linear park into the city. All these buses allow you to alight at Grenfell Street in the city which is central to many attractions in the city such as rundle mall (1 min walk), Hindley St (7 minute walk), Adelaide Uni/ Art Gallery of SA (10 minute walk, Adelaide Casino/ Festival Centre (15 minute walk), Zoo (25 minute walk), etc. There is also a free tram service about 2 minute walk from Grenfell Street in the city that can take you from the north of the city to the south so you can then visit the Adelaide Central Market and China Town. Alternatively, this tram also runs to Glenelg (you need to pay fare for this) which is a major tourist beach to visit with high street cafes and shopping. To catch bus you can just Tap and Pay with your Visa or Mastercard (credit/debit card or an enabled smart phone or device) using Adelaide Metro's new smart validators no need to pick up tickets ahead of time.
