The Stables Cosy Cottage Vibes near Coogee Beach

Tucked behind a heritage home in The Spot Randwick, The Stables—once used for horse and carriages in the early 1900s—is now a beautifully appointed studio with private access, leafy garden surrounds, and peaceful comfort. A bar area with a mini fridge makes it easy to prepare quick bites or reheat takeaway from the lively dining hub just a short stroll away. Catch a film at the Ritz Cinema, shop at Randwick Plaza, or hop on the light rail or nearby buses for direct access to the CBD and beaches.
The Stables is a self-contained studio, privately accessed via a garden path beside the main residence. Opening through double French doors, the living area features a soft grey sofa, two armchairs, and a mounted TV, all bathed in natural light from heritage-style windows. A dedicated desk, providing a bright and quiet workspace beneath high ceilings.

A compact bar area includes a Nespresso machine, toaster, milk frother, microwave, mini fridge, and all the essentials—ideal for making a light breakfast or reheating takeaway from The Spot, a lively dining precinct at the intersection of Perouse Road and St Paul's Street, just a short stroll away. While there’s no sink in this area, the bathroom sink can be used for washing dishes if needed.

The queen-sized bed rests within the open-plan layout, offering restful sleep with crisp linens. Just beside it, an ensuite includes a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet for convenience and comfort.

Stay comfortable year-round with a ceiling fan and a gas heater. Although there’s no on-site parking for the studio, ample street parking is available in the area and with a great selection of cafés and eateries just a short stroll away, and nearby bus stops and light rail offering direct trips to Coogee Beach, the CBD, and beyond; there is hardly a need for a car! There are no laundry facilities on-site, but a laundromat is just a short stroll away.

Catch a film just six minutes away at the historic Ritz Cinema, a beloved Art Deco landmark. For everyday essentials, Randwick Plaza is a 12-minute stroll from the studio. Buses nearby provide easy links to Coogee Beach, the starting point for the breathtaking Coogee to Bondi coastal walk.
