Marchez jusqu'à Monarch Beach (Salt Creek Beach) le long d'un chemin isolé sans circulation le long du parcours de golf jusqu'à ce que vous atteigniez la plage isolée de Salt Creek. Vous aurez l'impression d'avoir cette plage pittoresque presque pour vous. La promenade jusqu'à la plage est d'environ un mile et prend 20 minutes.

Situé à côté de deux des seuls hôtels et complexes cinq étoiles de Californie, St. Regis Dana Point. Deux autres complexes cinq étoiles, The Ritz Carlton et Montage à Laguna Beach sont à proximité.

Dans le magnifique quartier chic de Dana Point / Monarch Beach dans le comté d'Orange. Dana Point est situé sur la Pacific Coast Highway à mi-chemin entre Los Angeles et San Diego. Disneyland à 31 miles, San Diego et Sea World à 60 miles, Los Angeles à 55 miles. Vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes de certains des meilleurs restaurants, boutiques, plages, golf et tennis du sud de la Californie.

Ceci est une communauté fermée et comprend votre propre espace de stationnement. Il y a de petits escaliers à monter en entrant dans ce condo climatisé de plain-pied de 1 150 pieds carrés. Ce condominium relaxant et décoré avec goût est parfait pour deux couples ou une famille à la recherche d'une retraite sur la plage.

Entrez dans le salon spacieux, entièrement équipé avec une télévision à écran plasma de 42 pouces et un lecteur DVD. Chacune des deux chambres est également équipée d'une télévision à écran plat et d'un lecteur DVD. Savourez le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner ou le dîner dans la salle à manger séparée, ou utilisez le barbecue bar-b-q et détendez-vous à la table de patio sur le balcon.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grille-pain, mixeur, cafetière et tous vos besoins de cuisine. La chambre principale a un lit queen size et une télévision avec votre propre salle de bain privée. La deuxième chambre a 2 lits queen et TV écran plat. Le condo possède également sa propre buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse.

It was ok

The place was very well equipped. But it was rather sad looking and could use some sprucing up. Too many throw rugs as potential trip hazards. The sheets were super worn and appeared very old . I thought it had a slight smell of old cigarettes which I’m very sensitive to. But at least you could walk to many places so the location was good

Needs work - Not ready for prime time

It felt like almost everything in the condo was held together with "chewing gum or duct tape" or didn't quite work the way it should. This includes:*Peeling floor in the master bathroom*Peeling paint in the guest bathroom*Bar height table in the kitchen with 4 stools. But 2 of the stools were counter height, making me feel like I was 8 years old if I sat at them*No overhead lighting - the condo was very dark*Lighting provided by floor lamps, but almost all of the electrical outlets were loose which meant that the lamps had to plugged in "just right" to work. *Pillows were dirty*Rugs covering holes in the floor and bare spots in the floor-to-floor carpets*One toilet was very temperantal and required two visits by a plumber. The other toilet worked just fine.*One time the dishwasher started even though it wasn't locked closed*The kitchen sink faucet was stuck in one position - difficult to use with a divided sink.It does have a great location with easy access (walking or by car) to Monarch Beach.

Great value and location

The lower hot tub (shown in the property pictures) was the star of the stay! The peace and quiet and view of the ocean are worth the visit. Great location and Jason was very nice, accommodating, and responded promptly. The condo is well stocked with all the beach gear and kitchen equipment that you need.

Ocean Retreat

Great location!!! Walk to nearby beaches and 5 Star resorts or relax, swim and soak in the hot tubs right on property. Jason was a wonderful host…we will definitely return next year.

A week in November

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable. Close to beach, restaurants, and family. Host was easy to reach and helped us with a temperature issue we had with fridge. We will stay again.

Great location. Close to local beaches and located in lovely community. We had a wonderful time exploring local venues and enjoying the sunsets. Pricing is a great value for the location. Host was quick to respond to our questions. Again, great value!

Loved Salt Creek Beach

This condo is kind of 'dated' but it is comfy, cosy and spacious and just a 20 minute walk down to the beach. Has a nice deck. San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach are just minutes away by car. The condo is quiet - didn't hear our neighbors.

Good for the price

I gave it 5 stars because the owner was very quick to respond to one issue, also since this place was a bit more affordable than others, some quirks were to be expected. The main cons are road noise, fully carpeted, and the walk to the beach isn't as short as I had hoped. It's more for scenery and exercise. If you want to go to the beach and being chairs, etc, you should drive. Was a good stay overall.

Cannot fault the property or location

The property was the best equipped that we have stayed in. It had all the kitchen equipment we would need, including a kettle for an English cup of tea! There were beach towels, cool box, beach chairs, board games - everything. The location is beautiful. The walk to the beach through the golf course is really pretty and the beach cafe was great. It was a short drive to the theme parks and if you fancy something a little different then I can highly recommend Caspars Wilderness park a short drive away. It had a range of trails and excellent nature centre, which entertained the kids, plus a play park.

Great location

Property was as described in listing. The location was great. From the condo you can walk to a small market and deli, brewery and a couple of really good restaurants. I went for a job from the condo along bike path that leads right to Salt Creek beach. The property was very clean. I liked the patio. Close to everything in Dana Point and short drive to Laguna Beach. I felt this place has great value for the money. I will definitely stay again when returning to visit family.

A month in Dana Point

The location is great. The host is responsive. The kitchen, bathroom and beach supplies are well stocked. It is 10 minutes to the harbor where there are great restaurants and walking paths. The walk to the beach is beautiful but it an uphill climb coming home. Loved the pool and fitness room. Gave the condo a 4 out of 5 overall because it needs a little TLC.

This place has everything you need. We have stayed here a couple times in the past and it is our go to when heading to Cali. Jason does an awesome job maintaining the property and communicating with the guests if we ever need anything.

We have actually stayed here more than once! We love it that much! We love the location! There is the most beautiful walk to the beach along the golf course! The place is well stocked with beach chairs, body boards, a grill on the deck, and comfy beds. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

So Cal stay in Monarch Hills

We had a great time visiting Dana Point California and wanted to stay in the same complex that my brother lives in. I looked at MANY 2 bedroom units and ultimately went with this unit due to how well it was appointed: King in master, 2 Queens in secondary bedroom, large table and chairs, plenty of seating in living room, TV’s in every room, a kitchen with all kinds of essentials to prepare and eat meals, and also the beach chairs/towels were nice to utilize. The price per night was good for our family and the community was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for family trip!

Reservation process was easy. Welcome email with instructions from the host was very clear and helpful! Condo was clean and welcoming upon arrival. Host provided plenty of supplies and extras like beach chairs, toys and beach towels for us to use which was great! The space could use some minor fixes as all homes do over time. The fixes would improve overall guest experience but we had a great stay and hope to be able to stay here again in the future!

Convenient Stay

The location is great, the space is nice. The pool is a quick walk & the beach is a short drive. There are a few things that hopefully the hot will fix or address soon. One being the one of the toilets does not have a lid, which is just weird & not conducive to families with kids. Also, the power outlets are bad, they are so worn out that things (ie phones, watches, tablets) don't stay plugged in, to get them to charge we had to share an outlet with the floor lamp which is the only light in the dining space. All in all the place is good for what you need but the bathroom & outlet situation really left us pretty frustrated.

Homey Condo & Great Beach Location!

The condo is very comfortable & we enjoyed having access to the beach chairs, towels, etc! I didn't realize it was on the second floor (I may have missed it in the description) which was a bit tough for my sister who can't walk well, but we managed. We also liked the location since it was right beside the security gate so easy out & in for exploring the area. Parking was never a problem. Jason was great at communication & we ended up staying an extra day which he could accomodate. I should mention the shower faucets took us a bit to figure out - the main knob turns on the water but a plastic thingy adjusts the temperature. Something we had not seen before! We used the washer & dryer too which was nice to have access. The main pool & the hot tub overlooking the ocean (toward the back of the complex) was very cool! Jason has some good maps to help find them. If you are looking for a place that is "perfect" with high end updates this is probably not your style, but if you are looking for a very homey, comfortable location, Jason's condo is great!
