With space to sleep 6, it's perfect for a getaway with friends or family. Enjoy a retro-inspired full kitchen, cozy indoor fireplace, and luxurious king-size beds plus a sleeper sofa.
Step outside to unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit with swing seating, or dine al fresco under the covered porch. Located just minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, Blumenhaus offers the perfect balance of convenience and calm.

- You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

Excellent guesthouse! Well-equipped and clean. (I left 4 stars for cleanliness only because the shower liners could be washed, but generally the place was pristine.) We had to inquire how to make the hot tub work, but once it heated up, it was wonderful with beautiful flowers and hummingbirds all around. We saw a few deer as well. Good location, close to town. Great experience!

Great place to stay. Loved the option of outdoor fire and hot tub. Hot tub didn’t heat as hot or stay hot long but it was good to relax. Close to everything. TV remotes or we had no TV option for a movie and fan in one room was not working and beeping sound. Other than that a good place to stay. You need to get your own waters and ice.

Great place

The house was clean and so cute. It was perfect for our girls getaway. The hot tub wouldn’t get hot but it was so cold we decided not to use it anyway. It was comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect Place Just Off Main Street

This place is just 5 minutes up from the hussle on main street. Its secluded, quiet, and perfect. Such a cute place! You wouldn't even know it's back there.

Birthday Get Away

The property was close to everything downtown but out of the hustle and bustle so you could relax and unwind. The house was clean and cutely decorated. We enjoyed seeing a few deer and neighborhood was safe for my daily walks. I would only say bring laundry detergent if you plan to use the washer/dryer as there was none. We would definitely stay again!!

Perfect home base for Fredericksburg weekend trip.

This place is the perfect spot to stay for a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg… we came in for two nights, hit some wineries on the way in, explored the area on Saturday and then hit some wineries on the way back on Sunday. It’s a little outside of town, but the drive is really short and actually worth it to have the peace and quiet when you want some down time. The hot tub was a great place to relax. The home is perfect with two king beds and was really clean when we got there. We’ll definitely be staying here next time we come.

Immaculately clean! Super cool touches throughout. Very modern and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer! A perfect property for 2 couples. Lots of extras. Felt super comfortable there. One of our favorite VRBO accommodations ever!! Thank you for the amazing stay! Ps, the guys loved the hot tub.

Great Secluded House with Modern Amenities

This house was fantastic. It’s obvious this is a new house. It was designed perfectly for a VRBO. The bedrooms are identical so no one has to feel short changed. The house has new modern amenities that make for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was nice. There isn’t a privacy fence around the hot tub but it is on a low traffic road so it still feels secluded. This place was super clean and has great curb appeal. We would definitely stay here again.

Girls Getaway

We had a great time at this property for a girls trip. The house is set up with 2 exact bedrooms on either side with the living space in between. We enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub. The house was also close to the activities we chose to do. The house is close to a busy street/hwy, so when outside you hear lots of road noise but not when you are inside. This would not deter us from staying here again.

Hot tub not serviced

The living areas were clean. The South bedroom faucet had a leak that ran out onto the floor. Blinds near kitchen could not be closed completely meaning people inside did not have complete privacy from the outside. The hot tub had not been serviced in a while. Water was low and very cloudy. Did want to take a chance on bacteria in the water.

Hi John, Thank you for your feedback, and we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention.The bedroom faucet has since been repaired, and we’ve reported the issue with the kitchen blinds to the homeowner for replacement. As for the hot tub, we’re glad you reached out during your stay — we offered to send someone immediately, but you preferred we come the following day, and we respected that. Our team came out and drained and cleaned the hot tub to ensure it was ready for use. We appreciate your communication and the opportunity to address these concerns.

Great house for 2 couples

This was a wonderful house. Renovated, and the layout is very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The outside swings with the firepit were great. Hot tub was wonderful, but does need some slight maintenance, as the temperature does not increase once you open it, and was dropping down to 96. Would not respond to the controls, and just needs to be cleaned. Neighborhood also has very annoying dogs that bark every morning. Other than that it was a fantastic stay, highly recommend it.

Moments in Time

Annually my wife and I and another couple, carve out three days from hectic schedules and escape to a location for rest, relaxation, and catching up. Blumenhaus was just the ticket! CLEAN, thoughtfully appointed and nicely laid out. We used all the amenities from the hot tub to the patio, porch and kitchen. Every corner of this haus has received detailed attention and we were abundantly pleased!Frederericksburg is a lovely destination city as we strolled thru perfect weather to enjoy boutique shops and sidewalk cafes. We checked off a bucket list item by attending the Admiral Chester Nimitz Museum and the accompanying, National Museum of the Pacific War. Plan on about 4 hrs to do both museums as they do not disappoint. The war museum has some of the best battlefield dioramas that I have seen! Planes, tanks, jeeps, submarines, they have it all. At the conclusion of our stay, we all wished we had stolen another day to enjoy our time together and the ambiance of Blumenhaus!

Grounds Cover All You Need Conveniently Located

The property offers everything you could need to enjoy your stay and the grounds are very nicely laid out, making the best use of every foot on the property. We didn't make use of all of the amenities, but these were nice to have. The house is newer and the finishes are nice. We were two couples, and the split floor plan was perfect. It offered both couples privacy. The outdoors is charming and as pictured. They could use more cook wear, but supplied enough cutlery and dishes. The inside offers room for 6 to dine and the outside offers extra space and an alternative dinning area on the porch. The basics are covered such as linens and bath towels, but all else you will need to bring for cooking, cleaning, and any extras. I would recommend this property and would stay there again. There is a dog kennel across the street and that can be loud if the dogs are rowdy. Also, there is a junk yard neighboring the property, but you wouldn't know if if you didn't venture out beyond the house. There is an empty field next door and we caught several deer in the field, which was very neat. The area is generally quiet, despite the occasionally rowdy dogs and the road noise, and we felt safe.
