This property is well located -- walkable to the center of the city but in a lovely residential neighborhood. We were especially impressed by how well-equipped the property was. They had towels to take to the springs and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare simple meals. The bathrooms were remodeled and very nice. Parts of the house were a little dated, but still very comfortable.
This house was very comfortable and walking distance to many places. The beds were comfortable and comfy couch area. Kitchen had all we needed. We loved our stay
We couldnât make it up to Glenwood due to weather, and Vanessa and Josh were just incredible. They were responsive and worked with us to cancel our initial reservation so we could reschedule. Seriously, such kind people to work with. I canât wait to actually stay in the property!
We have nothing but great things to say about this home! Comfortable living room and big, easy to work ( important!) TV, comfortable beds, all that you might need in the kitchen, wonderful downstairs bedroom and bath, easy to operate washer and dryer, plenty of amenities like Kleenex, soap, shampoo etc. the location is very convenient as well. We loved our 1 week stay so much that we have booked this for 2 weeks next year!!
The location was great - just a short walk to pretty much everything. The house was quite big with plenty of room to spread out. Large driveway was a plus too
We loved our early weekend stay at this house. Right in the middle of town but not so close to the pool that it feels overcrowded during tourist season. Size of house and layout are perfect for a family to relax and plenty of places nearby for food, walking and the cave/pool.
Perfect location and great for our group as we traveled for Aspens X Games. So close to the public transportation and things in downtown glenwood springs. Really spacious area! Would definitely come back again!
Stayed a week in the clean and comfort of unit and loved the bedding slept well the video games were great for child with us, loved the close proximity to town , hot springs were really nice. We would stay there again thanks for the hospitality !
The property is located in a pleasant and peaceful residential side street but is only a short walk from restaurants, bars and the wonderful hot springs pool. The hike up to Hanging Lake, which is a must-do, is about 15 minutes drive away.
The house was ideal for a weekend break. It was comfortable and pretty well equipped, although the kitchen was a little dated.
We had a long weekend here. Host communicated extremely well. Home is clean, had games, a wii, puzzles, bath and kitchen supplies and itâs super close to downtown with a probated drive. Would certainly recommend
We truly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean, and cozy home. Kitchen was more than well equipped, bathrooms were very clean (soap, shampoo and conditioner provided), and the beds were so comfortable.
One of the reasons we chose this home was because it had flooring instead of wall to wall carpeting. My wife suffers from airborne allergies that are triggered by carpeting, so she was extremely happy with the cleanliness of the home and the flooring. She didnât sneeze once! When we pulled back all the curtains, my daughter said she felt like she was in a snow globe! She also absolutely loved the vinyl window sticker in her room (we are purchasing one for her room now). My son truly enjoyed the cozy room in the basement with his own private bathroom and laundry room. Heâs asking for us to build him a basement. Lol.
Location was great! One block from the main street and two blocks away from the well-stocked grocery store (City Market). We enjoyed skiing and snowmobiling at Sunlight Mountain and had a wonderful time at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Vapor Caves (Yampah Spa).
We had an incredible and unforgettable experience!
Very accessible to Glenwood Springs shops and restaurants, loved being able to walk to breakfast/dinners/hikes and more! Beautiful street and quaint home made us feel very comfortable. Love that it was free of cluttered decor and clean. Comfy mattresses on the beds.
Now for just a few suggestions......1.) Blackout shades behind the curtains in the small windows above the upstairs beds would be super helpful, as each morning we had sun on our pillows/in our eyes starting as early as daybreak, waking up the kids (and us) super early. 2.) A quick email about what to expect for the check in process (minus the codes etc) sent a few weeks out would help ease travel concerns and uncertainty. We received the code in the afternoon on the day we were supposed to check in, just a few hours before reaching the VRBO......this made us a little anxious that we would be driving all the way home without being able to stay in Glenwood as promised. 3.) Stating in the advertisement that the AC is not central, its a unit in the living room, not for the whole house. This is a very minor one for the Mnt. towns, as it wasn't super duper hot when we traveled in June but is probably good for people to know for July/August 4.) Lighter, cooler bedding in the summer months. Again, minor but when you have only fans no need for thick, plush comforters.
Overall a fabulous property in a great neighborhood, and none of the items above were deal breakers for us, just things that would take it from a 4 star rating to 5!! Thanks for the memories!
