Ŵe really enjoyed our stay in this awesome home with amazing views in a peaceful and quiet area near great beaches. The home was perfectly set up for us and we wish we could have stayed longer. Morning coffees with the views from the living room are top notch! And the sunsets were epic too over the basin!

Beautiful peaceful cottage

Stayed as a couple. Cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated and perfect for sunset viewing. A peaceful spot to spend your time in PEI. Any questions we had were answered right away.

Beautiful cottage

This cottage was beautiful and made for a relaxing stay in PEI. The cottage is modern with hot water and air conditioning, and was very clean when we arrived. Nearly everything we needed was provided by the host, we only had to purchase our groceries. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

What a beautiful cottage. Perfectly situated by the water, next to a campground so easy access to ice cream shop, cafe, restaurant, general store and laundromat (for large loads). Walking distance to spectacular beach and sandstone formations. Cozy and well appointed with everything you need to feel at home. Easy to check in and out. Highly recommend this property. Photos are from the nearby fields and beach.

The cottage was in a great location with a grocery store 15min drive. as well as pharmacy and a few restaurants. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing.Our only suggestions would be to provide more cutlery, coffee mugs and to upgrade the washer/ dryer We had a marvellous week! Thank you for sharing this wonderful cottage.

Our stay in Darnley was quintessential PEI living. This cottage is just as pictured, lovely! We loved the “ocean-to-table” shop, Basin View Seafood, located a short drive from the cottage, where we purchased fresh seafood for dinners. The only thing worth mentioning on the negative side is, don’t plan on doing laundry as the washer/dryer is less than efficient. Otherwise, wonderful cottage for East Coast living!

Great location, modern comfort, cute and cozy!

Beautiful and cozy cottage with amazing water views of the Darnley Basin. The location is great with gorgeous beaches nearby at Twin Shores and Thundercove (no life guards) and an easy drive to Cavendish and Green Gables shore attractions. The cottage is part of a small sub division and there are a few other cottages behind this one, however the water view is unobstructed, with a large yard in front and cottage windows facing the water.We appreciated the modern decor and updated interior of the cottage, with new furnishings, which made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. All the amenities you need, including laundry and a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue and fire pit, and lots of room to spread out, for family vacation stay. Also, the hosts were very responsive and helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had!

5 out of 5! No notes!The views were magic. The cottage was perfect. I can’t say enough. If you are planning a trip to PEI the Darnley area was surprisingly close to Cavendish, Green Gables, amazing food, and wonderful trails… not to mention Thundercove Beach. But also WAY more quiet and peaceful than being right in the Cavendish hubbub. We visited in early August and were met with the most amazing weather too.Menno and Jillian were the perfect hosts. Very considerate, and thoughtful, and prompt to respond to any questions we had. The cottage was clean, the kitchen had everything you’d need. You won’t regret booking here.
