"Angourie" is a beautiful newly built two storey, four bedroom, two bathroom house (sleeps 10). Moments from the beach, it has magnificent 180 degree views of Wilsons Promontory National Park to the front and views to the bush behind of the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park.
The space
Located at Walkerville North, and overlooking the beach, our house features an expansive light-filled, open plan living area revealing beautiful views of The Prom with a stunning, well appointed kitchen. The space has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets.
The perfect property for a family or two: the spacious main bedroom has a queen size bed, and built-in robe. Bedroom two has a double size bed, and built-in robe. Bedroom three has a queen size bed and a built-in robe. Bedroom four has two sets of single bunks, and a built-in robe. Linen and bath towels are provided.
Both bathrooms have an adjacent separate toilet and and the main bathroom has a bath and washing machine. There is also an outside shower for washing off the sand and sea after a day at the beach.
A large fully-equipped kitchen features stone bench tops and stainless appliances. The pantry includes tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, spices, salt and pepper, etc.
There is great mobile phone coverage with Telstra, Optus can be intermittent.
There are also three decks. Upstairs faces east with ocean views , the perfect spot for a gin and tonic while contemplating the view and for outdoor dining with a WeberQ BBQ. Downstairs, the front deck also faces east, with ocean views and the other large deck faces north and west to the bush - always a warm place to read a book and relax in the sun!
Maximum insulation and double glazed windows throughout ensure guest comfort - cool in summer and warm in winter. Enjoy the ambiance of the wood heater in the winter with a reverse cycle air conditioner providing instant heating or cooling. There is also a fan in the main living area.
PLEASE NOTE:
Families/couples only (no parties). Pet friendly. This is a no smoking house. The house is not toddler friendly and has no child gate at the top or bottom of the stairs
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use all areas of the house.
Other things to note
We do not take bookings for "SCHOOLIES", or large groups of adults (max 6 adult beds and 5 single bunk beds). No large parties - only guests on booking reservation allowed.
This house uses tank water only. Please be mindful of your usage and keep showers to a minimum to conserve water. There is no rubbish collection at Walkerville and guests will need to dispose of their own rubbish.
