The property was true to the description. It was a very nice little cabin in the woods. We enjoyed our stay very much and they added lots of simple little amenities to make our stay nicer

We loved the cabin in Hadley, New York. It was perfect for us. We planned for both cool and warm weather as it was the second week in August. It was extremely private, quiet and beautiful. There were plenty of fans to keep us cool. The incredible Lake Sacandaga mesmerized us every night with beauty. It wasn’t hotel clean, and It needs a little bit of TLC. I would recommend.

We're so glad you loved the cabin in Hadley and that Lake Sacandaga's views and the peaceful, private setting made your stay special. We're sorry the cabin didn't feel thoroughly cleaned to your standards, and we'd welcome specifics on what fell short so we can look into it. As for the TLC comment, it's true this is an Adirondacks cabin rather than a hotel, and while we've made many upgrades over the years, it will always keep that cozy camp feel. Thank you for recommending us!

We spent a week at this amazing cabin. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook full meals and there are a few grocery stores nearby. If you want to go out, the location is pretty central on the north shore of the lake, so getting to Lake George/Glens Falls is very easy. The house is very clean and well maintained with ample seating both indoors and out. The patio table was a very nice place to watch the sun set over the lake with a nice glass of wine. All 3 bedrooms are nicely furnished with very comfortable mattresses. They left us plenty of towels with extras available if you wanted or needed to change them out.The value for the money is outstanding. We're frequent visitors to this area because we attend a lot of events and classes at the Adirondack Folk School and we will definitely be staying here again.

We're so glad your week at the cabin was such a great one! It sounds like the kitchen, the seating both indoors and out, and those sunset views from the patio table made for a wonderful stay. We're happy the house felt clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and that the location made it easy to get around the north shore and into Lake George/Glens Falls.

Check in is at 4...I received a call at 4:15 from the house cleaner. When we arrived at 7, the cleaner was still there. The house was not cleaned. The sheets on the beds were still damp. The advertised a washer and dryer, however they were locked up. Now, I will stay that VRBO and Evolve were easy to work with. They addressed all of our issues. They gave us an extra 4 hours for check out. We ended up not using the extra hours. It was just upsetting to get to this house and it wasn't the cleanest.

From the owner: "Hi Shondala, We’re so sorry to hear about your experience and truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention right away. As you noted, our team responded immediately and offered to send housekeeping back, along with granting you extra time at the property to help make up for the inconvenience.Since your stay, we’ve transitioned to a new housekeeping partner, and we’re confident they’ll maintain the high standards we expect for cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest experience. We’d also like to clarify that the washer and dryer are not listed as amenities for guest use, and we apologize if there was any confusion around that.Thank you again for your patience and understanding. We're grateful for the opportunity to make things right and hope your time at the home ended on a positive note."

Being a first time renter of a Vrbo property i was satisfied with our stay. It was more than what we needed but I only think I got it because the place had no AC and it was hot. Also there were no other places around that were available, We managed with fans, only used the place to clean up and sleep, didn't use much of anything else but coffee maker.

Thank you for your review. We are very glad you were satisfied with your stay. The heat spell during your stay is very uncommon, and we are sorry that the ceiling fans may not have been adequate for your needs. Normally, they cool the house quite well. We are looking into portable air conditioning so that the house will be prepared in the event of another hot spell.
