Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Luminosa"! This home sleeps up to 18 guests (14 in the main part of the house and 4 more in the studios).
Brand new to the Sanctuary Vacation Rentals program. Secure this summer rental while you can - available July - September 2025.
Located in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from the Del Monte Shopping Center, and not far from Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Monterey, this gorgeous home will wow you from the moment you walk in the door. Guests will enjoy easy access to all Monterey attractions and other nearby coastal towns like quaint Carmel-by-the-Sea, charming Pacific Grove, not to mention golfers' bucket list courses in Pebble Beach® and scenic drives to Big Sur.
Living Spaces
This stunning 3,200 sf Monterey vacation home is truly set up to entertain and has far too many extras to mention.
This home is full of gathering areas including a game room with a pool table and bar which opens to the full outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ grill, wood-fired pizza oven and a large gas fireplace.
The living room with wood fireplace opens up to a formal piano bar near a large upper deck with views of the city lights at night that can be enclosed with automated weather curtains to block the wind and create an outdoor room with lighting and butane odorless fireplace.
The immaculate chef's kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and access to the outdoor BBQ area.
The large fenced back yard is home to play spaces for bocce ball, corn hole, badminton and volleyball.
The lower back yard is home to a strolling garden with lush vegetation and a beautiful, enclosed chicken area. Someone comes to care for the chickens and if you ask, they will share the fresh eggs with you!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Four bedrooms are located on the main/upper level:
Bedroom #1, "Cielo" - Primary suite with a King Bed and en suite bathroom with standing shower.
Bedroom #2, "Sol" - Queen Bed, across the hall from the guest bathroom which has a standing shower.
Bedroom #3 - "Tierra" - Queen Bed, Jack and Jill full bathroom with standing shower shared with Bedroom #4.
Bedroom #4 - "Mar" - Queen Bed, Jack and Jill full bathroom with standing shower shared with Bedroom #3.
Downstairs:
Bedroom #5 is the "Bunkhouse" with a TV and a Queen Murphy Bed and a bunk bed with a queen (lower) and twin (upper). A separate seating area ("El Nido") is a great space for playing board games and has backyard access.
The full bathroom on this lower level has a standing shower.
Accessed from outside are two more attached, studio sleeping spaces: (Please note that these do not have their own bathrooms so guests sleeping in these rooms will come back into the main part of the house, upstairs and through the kitchen to access bathrooms.)
Bedroom #6, "The Cave", has a queen bed, a small seating area near an electric fireplace and backyard access.
The final sleeping option is "The Shack", Bedroom #7, has a queen Murphy bed, TV, electric fireplace and desk workspace.
Climate control: Bedrooms #3 and #4 and the game room have mini-splits for heat and air conditioning. The rest of the home has central heat.
One well-behaved dog is welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
The driveway has off-street parking space for 3 vehicles. The garage is not available for guest use.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
