Perfect week in the mountains

This house is beautifully set up for two couples to enjoy cosy and comfortable private bedrooms with ensuites and TVs and a common spacious, light living area and kitchen, with wood heater and aircon/heating and TV. We loved the spa in wintertime - a lovely way to relax and ease the muscles after bushwalking to the Kondalilla Falls. We loved seeing the resident kookaburras visit on the verandah railings and the quiet, rainforest setting of the house. The hosts provided fruit and cereals as well as all the kitchen and bathroom things that we needed for a week's stay. We loved playing some of the board games and CDs that are available in the house, and we appreciated the ample parking for two cars. The house is very well located a very short drive to Montville main street and easy distance to Maleny and Mapleton and all the great things to see and do in this region. We had a fabulous lunch at Flame Hill Winery and an amazing dinner at Mapleton Pub. We also did lots of bush walking in the multiple reserves and national parks. A beautiful place to stay, we would definitely consider returning to this house for a visit to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

The unique picturesque town of Montville is a gorgeous place to live and visit. It's high up in the mountain, where the air is fresh, the water is pure and there are no traffic lights, traffic jams or congestion!

We are less than a minute's drive to the Village of amazing artisan stores and coffee shops. Or you can walk!

The Family Russell Park only 10 minutes walk away has a lovely big lake to walk your dog around and a relaxing vibe with a cool playground for kids.

We are also close to Lake Baroon, Kondalilla Falls, Gardners Falls and some brilliant restaurants, like the famous 5 Star Long Apron at Spicers Clovelly Estate (literally just 1 minute walk away).
