My family and I really enjoyed staying here! The walk to the beach was fantastic and the place has a lot of windows for natural lighting.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

The Teal Turtle was the perfect home base for our family of five. One of our kids attended Tony Silvagni’s surf camp for the week, and it was only a five-minute drive to Carolina Beach. Kure Beach was just a short walk away and offered even better waves for surfing. The house came stocked with everything we needed for the beach—umbrellas, chairs, and sand toys. Inside, it was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with games and TVs to keep everyone entertained. We had a great stay and would definitely come back

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Came down for a long weekend and the property was just as described. Short walk to the beach, house was clean and well stocked and the owner was quick to reply with any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice escape for a couple

Perfect little cottage just over a block from the beach access allowed spouse and I to ditch the kids and grandparent and enjoy time to ourselves.Also big enough to host 8 people for a family game night.

Amazing house!

This house was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and kitchen well stocked. The beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed the putting green! The location can't be beat and it was an easy walk to the beach. We will be back!

Family beach vacation

This location checked all the boxes! The house was perfect for our family of four and only one block from the beach. Megan was responsive to all questions and very helpful. I would strongly recommend!

Hidden Diamond

Beautiful 1 floor home with lots of space to spread out. Loved the screened porch where you can hear the ocean and of course the putting green my teens really enjoyed and the swing in the back and front yard. Liked that all tvs working with Roku service. Well stocked place. Very short walk to the beach. Excellent little gem!

Our Hearts are Full

Hello from Boone, NC. After a 2 week recovery from hurricane Helene, the Teal Turtle is just what our souls needed. Who would have thought we would be coming to the coast to recover from a hurricane that hit the mountains!! The Teal Turtle met all our expectations and being with our kids (UNCW) was the icing on the cake. Thankful for the spacious and simple floor plan. The kitchen was well stocked for family meals. We loved the side porch for coffee and the swing on the front porch for evening chats. The neighbors were super nice and the walk to the beach was short. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Nice Location

This is a great little rental. 5 minute walk to the beach. There was an issue with the TVs when we got there. We let them know and the issue was fixed quickly. The one down side, which as a pet friendly rental I had an issue with, is that the property has artificial grass that your pet can’t use. There is a fenced in yard with artificial grass that they ask that your pet not use to go potty. This means walking your dog to go to the bathroom somewhere other than this property. I don’t recall this being part of the online listing which, may have changed where we stayed. Because we didn’t want our dog to do something on the property against the rules we didn’t use the outdoor space at all. Which was a shame as it was a nice space. Overall this would have been a 4.5 star review if I could give half stars. We were allowed to bring our dog and short walks were ok, just unexpected.
