Enjoy this large home which features plenty of space for the entire family/friends to spread out and also large spaces to enjoy together! The updated kitchen is stocked with every item you could ever need for preparing your meals. The living room features a cozy gas fireplace to stay warm by all year long. A second game room is located upstairs for another group or for the kids to gather in. Peace and quiet is available just out the back door with a wrap around deck, ample seating, and hot tub for all.

Location:
Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the Winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Cross country skiing is close by and rentals are available at Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

Pet Friendly:
Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars at the home. 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

Absolutely Wonderful Home Near Skiing

I rented this home for 6 days between Christmas and New Years for our family of 8 ranging in age from 71 (me) to 3 yrs old. The house was nice and warm when we arrived. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub in 35 degree weather! We were 5 minutes away from Granlibakken for sledding. I would return here in a heart beat.

INCREDIBLE Home & Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved staying here for the winter. This home is perfectly located for skiing Palisades. On busy weekends, it would take us 25 minutes, and for spring weekends, only 15 minutes! This home is also designed beautifully for entertaining, fostering late night chats beside the fireplace, and hanging out with the kitchen as the heart of the home, not the television. Would love to stay here again!

This house was beautiful inside with great amenities. The backyard patios, furniture, and hot tub were great. The lot itself was large and beautiful. What I did not like about the property is that some of the front deck rails had rotted and were broken, so the deck was closed off with mesh with signs advising us not to lean on the rails. My feeling is that this was a relatively simple, but costly repair. I had grandkids, so we could not use the front decks. I would not consider this place as being walkable to Tahoe City, unless you are in good shape. It’s about 1.5 miles to downtown. Fix the deck railings, and I have no complaints. Again, this is a beautiful home on a beautiful lot.

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be that upstairs bonus room bedroom had a strong dog smell and blankets were dirty. Also we wished there was a full size couch instead of just chairs and one loveseat. But overall we were pleased.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean, nicely decorated with high quality fixtures and amenities. Kitchen has plenty of supplies and cookware. The backyard and deck areas are beautiful and a great place to watch birds and enjoy the view. The bear box was stuffed to the gills when we arrived so upon departure we had to remove the other people's trash and reorganize all the garbage to fit ours in as well. At first we weren't sure we could fit it and spent an hour researching trash facilities the night before departure. We couldn't find an open trash place so spent the time re-organizing all the dirty trash. Kind of a bummer but we made it work.

Quality Time with the Family

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our wedding weekend with our 2 year old, my sisters, and their families/kids. This property was wonderful! A very convenient location to downtown TC, Sunnyside and the best of the West Shore. The kids loved playing in the separate living area…which is really a kids wing of the house with living room, game closet and bedroom. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor space and cozy downstairs living room. The master bedroom is immediately inside the front door and adjacent to the garage which did make the temperature cooler than the rest of the house but it was not an issue for us. FYI they do not allow early check in requests. Highly recommend this property for quality family time!

The garbage piled up because our rental started on a Wednesday and the management company didn't put out the garbage. So our bins outside were full from the beginning.That was the only snag. I had to wait until dusk and sneak my garbage bag into the neighbors' cans. ha ha nobody saw me.

A home away from home

Walking distance to town. Clean, roomy and comfortable . Had some problems with a non working toilet and locked spa but a quick call to the cabin’s management company and the problem was solved…very fast response time was so appreciated..

Great Rental but run down

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Its a a decent rental. It is a little run down. The shower upstairs leaked into the master bedroom ceiling downstairs which was a bummer. The hot tub is top notch. Wrap around deck is a great place to hang in the summer. We enjoyed our stay overall. I reached out to the management company telling them the shower is leaking into the bedroom downstairs. They said they will send someone next morning and no one showed up. We were down a bathroom the whole trip because we were being more responsible than the management company lol. We were pleased with the space overall. The owner needs a new management company. Secondly, I requested the management company to kindly get us a highchair and a pack n play which is a reasonable request if you are paying ~1000 per night (peak summer rate) They started telling us about the added fees. I just brought my own pack n play /highchair which was a pain. When we showed up the garage had the items (2 high chairs and a pack n play). The management company just didn't want to tell us about those items and wanted extra fees which was disappointing. Again, I would cringe working with the "Tahoe Rental Company" in the future. They leave a bad taste in your mouth.
