We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We appreciated the clean space, and the property -- even managed to see 3 orcas our first day! Would love to stay again.

Relaxing getaway

The cottage was lovely. Even better than the photos. A bird watcher's paradise. Super quiet location with easy access to all sooke/east sooke have to offer. I would definitely go back!

The location was perfect for us. Quiet, on the water, and with close proximity to hiking trails in East Sooke Regional Park. Our dogs loved the backyard and playing “hide and seek” around the trees. Very fun to walk out to the Basin at low tide and see oysters and sea stars. The cottage itself was comfortable and Theresa was very responsive. The day of check-in we requested arriving an hour earlier and it was no problem. Overall, a great stay!

Spectacular property and cottage

This is an incredible property and cottage. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, and included everything we needed for our stay. The property is huge and allowed us easy access to the water for paddleboarding. The cottage itself is lovely and well furnished - light and bright and welcoming. The location is easy access to nearby hikes in East Sooke Park. And we appreciated that it is dog friendly. We would happily stay here again!

Wonderful little cabin. Loved the welcoming sign with our names on it. The view was amazing even though it rained pretty hard. I could see myself spending most of the day sitting on the deck in more favourable weather. Everything we needed was there. Had a bit of a power outage but Hydro got right on it and had it up and running in no time. Would definitely recommend this place. Host were very accommodating and answered my questions in a timely manner.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back! The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy from start to finish. This place truly is magical and we had a fantastic time. The cottage itself is bright, clean and comfortable. It feels brand new and everything was in excellent shape. The property is unbelievable. The views are so relaxing and peaceful. We had breakfast and dinners on the patio looking out into the trees and the water. Our kid and dog loved running around the yard and exploring the beach out front at low tide. Lots of birds, rabbits, and deer. So quiet too. Beds and couch were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Couldn’t ask for a better place or better hosts. We can’t wait to come back.

Absolute perfect. Couldn't have chosen a better property for what we were looking for on our ladies vacation away! The Cottage was perfect, clean and beyond our expectations. A perfect place to regroup during our hiking adventures and a quiet place to lay our heads after some exhilarating days! LOVED the local food truck 'Hide&Seek', in fact went back twice during our stay - as well as the 17 Mile Pub! Catn wait to come back and bring the kids next time as the beach/shelling would have them busy for hrs. Thank you for sharing your place with us! Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet place in the woods to recharge!!
