Less than a 10-minute drive to central Mudgee, this home feels like a true country estate. It has been purposely designed to cater for large groups while retaining its sense of peace and privacy, with an ensuite in every bedroom. Drop into the region’s lauded cellar doors, such as Logan Wines, Robert Stein, and Lowe Wines, and get out in nature with a hike along Castle Rocks or kayak on the Cudgegong River. Back home, relish fireside get-togethers, outdoor dining, and some ping-pong fun.
Step into this grand family escape in a peaceful pocket of Mudgee. This generously sized residence combines comfort and style across its expansive indoor and outdoor spaces. It’s bounded by nature, which you can soak up while dining alfresco, cooking up a feast on the BBQ or coming together around the fire pit.

Inside, there’s plenty of room to relax. Kick back on the lounge enjoying the wall-mounted TV and getting cosy in front of the electric fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home with sleek appliances and modern utensils. It comes with a butler’s pantry and breakfast bar for slow mornings at home. There’s plenty to keep families entertained including a games room with a table tennis table.

Each of the five bedrooms is thoughtfully designed as a private retreat, complete with its own kitchenette and a small table—perfect for enjoying light snacks or setting up a laptop for remote work. You will appreciate the stylish ensuite bathrooms featuring rain showers and boutique toiletries. Every room is equipped with split-system air-conditioning and luxurious king-sized beds, which can be converted into two single beds upon request. The fifth bedroom is wheelchair-accessible with a ramp, offering a spacious layout and an accessible bathroom including hand rails.

Travelling with an infant? A porta cot, highchair and children’s tableware are provided. There’s also a full main bathroom, which highlights a dedicated wet zone with a bathtub and shower. A separate laundry room adds to your everyday convenience with a washing machine and dryer.

Ample parking is provided along with two, solar-powered electric vehicle charging available from 9 am to 5 pm.

There is currently a house under construction in the front paddock. Construction occurs midweek and is expected to be completed by August. Please note that construction noise may be heard during this time.

Nestled just under four hours’ drive west of Sydney, the town of Mudgee is renowned for its wineries and flourishing food scene. Its winemaking dates to the 19th century, with notable cellar doors including Lowe Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard and Logan Wines. Meander the colonial streetscapes filled with produce stores, cafes and boutiques, and shop for local produce at the Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers’ Markets, held in the picturesque grounds of Robertson Park. While visiting the region, you can explore World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park, home to scenic walking trails, canoeing and kayaking tours.

Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

Firewood packs can be preordered for an additional cost, available only from April to September. Please inform us at the time of booking if you would like to have firewood provided.

There is an additional cost of $30 per bed to split the king bed into 2 x single beds.

Feel free to request additional amenities, such as a porta cot for $15, cot linen and towel for $15, a high chair for $15, or a rollaway bed suitable for a small child, including bedding and linen, for $30.
