Definitely a 5 but timing

The place is amazing! Beautifully laid out. With a spectacular view. We were there for the hot air balloon race and the view from the balcony was perfect. One down fall is that during the time we booked there was construction on what looks to be a beautiful park with an amphitheater and the River. We will be back again to enjoy everything and hopefully the park. Very hospitable and accommodating host 🙂

Beautiful location and furnishings

I’m only giving this a 3 star because there were numerous cleanliness problems: used qtip on the bathroom floor, towels that looked soiled by glue, outdoor fridge filled with mold, dust bunnies and dead plant leaves on the floor. Otherwise the place was beautiful. And the records with the record player was a bonus too. If you want to stay in downtown Reno, this place is great. I’d stay again if it was cleaner, and I’m hoping this was just a glitch.

WoW WoW WoW!This Penthouse 100% brings SEXY to Reno! All weekend I found myself saying “I’ve never seen Reno look so good! Nestled right up again the Truckee River, 2 amazing outdoor areas. The views at night, blew us away! This was a surprise Birthday trip for my Boyfriend and he was beyond excited. The decor looked like it was out of a magazine, not to mention the attention even to the smallest details were what impressed me. Antique vintage bar area stocked with glasses, shaker, just bring the booze! Fully stocked from dishes, games, yoga mat, more than everything we needed for entertaining. We lived the record player and the huge selection of records….totally went with the sexy vibe this place had. I honestly don’t think I can ever go back to Reno and stay anywhere else! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful Penthouse!

worst ever

where to start? Told we would find WIFI info in unit. Not there. Called property mgr. She had no idea. Had to wait a day.Bedrooms: no dressers or shelves to put clothes. 5 remotes, none labeled. AC in back bedroom did not work.Kitchen: only an espresso machine. Had to get mgr to bring us a regular coffee maker and then she did bring us any filters. No toaster. No dish drainer. No instructions on garbage or recycling. No instructions on what to do with dirty sheets and towels- so we just left them.Tried to use the grill on balcony- 2 empty propane cylinders. Had to get Mgr to bring us one. The stupid watering system on the balcony left the outdoor rug soaking wet all the time.We really feel like we were cheated given the price of this place and would like a refund of 1/2 our cost.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- This was the first reservation after switching to new management, and a few details, unfortunately, slipped through the cracks.- The manager responded quickly once notified and was able to deliver a coffee maker, portable A/C unit, and fresh propane tank to help improve your stay.- While small kitchen appliances like toasters and drip coffee makers aren't required, they’re now considering adding more standard amenities based on your suggestions.- The WiFi information has been added to the welcome materials, and a house info sheet covering trash, linens, and other basics is being printed for all future guests.- The balcony watering system has been adjusted so it no longer soaks the rug.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
